Ranked sixth in the country. Fujian Conservatory of Music is located in Cangshan District, Fuzhou City. Founded in 1958, it is the only full-time art college with undergraduate and above degrees in Fujian Province. The school is a key institution supported by the national "211 Project" and one of the nine pilot universities for music undergraduate education in the country. It has been rated as a "National Advantage and Characteristic Discipline" by the Ministry of Education. Fujian Conservatory of Music’s musicology, performance and other majors have always been at the leading level in the country, and its music major’s teaching quality and teaching staff are highly recognized.
