"Alive" is an urban folk song written, composed and sung by Hao Yun and released on September 12, 2013. It comes from Hao Yun's third album of the same name, "Alive".
Lyrics:
Standing on a tall building when tired
Looking at the little ants on the ground
Their heads are big
Their legs are very thin
They are holding iPhones
They are wearing Nike Adidas
They are going to be late for work
They are anxious
My poor jeep
It has been a long time since I climbed a mountain or crossed a river
He has been in this city
It was very depressing
Although he didn’t say anything
But I knew he was sad
I quietly made a wish
With He went to Mongolia
Hurrying in a hurry
Why is life always like this
Could it be that this is my ideal
Spend the time of your life
Neither humble nor arrogant, nor rushed
Maybe life should be like this
Do you think we should look for it after 60 years old
The freedom I want
Flies away year by year
It’s still the little savings
I still can’t afford many of the things I like
p>
Life is full of troubles
I haven’t gotten used to it yet
They all say money is a bastard
You are so good-looking
Hurrying in a hurry
Why is life always like this
Could it be that my ideal
is to spend my life like this
p>
Neither humble nor arrogant, neither hurried nor hurried
Maybe life should be like this
Is it possible to find the freedom I want after the age of 60
p>
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to live like this
I don’t want to panic like this< /p>
In a hurry
Why is life always like this
Could it be that my ideal
is to spend my life like this
Neither humble, nor arrogant, nor rushed
Maybe life should be like this
Is it possible that after 60 years old
I will look for the freedom I want
Actually, I often tell myself
People should learn to be content and happy
But everything can be laughed off
What’s the point?
Creative background
"Alive" can be said to be the second part of Hao Yun's previous hit song "The End". Although the two songs discuss completely different topics, they do have similarities in the tone and temperament of the songs.
It is also a guitar, with sharp but not sharp lyrics, and a simple and relaxed atmosphere that allows the listener to think beyond the melody.
But the difference between "Alive" and "Ended" is that Hao Yun has become more mature in creation after nearly three years of accumulation, both in terms of the rigor of the melody and the depth of the lyrics. A more delicate technique.
Although his creative skills have become more mature, the "grassroots, life-oriented" temperament of the works themselves has not changed. Hao Yun still maintains the attitude of an "urban walker".
Through my own feelings, I try to touch the current situation of social life, hoping to use my guitar to bring some humorous comfort and understanding to more young people struggling in the "hurried pace of life"
