In fact, I personally think that the songs in many of Jay Chou's albums are very good. There are so many good songs, and it is not that easy to pick out the top songs among them. But if you think about it carefully, the songs that can be called the top all have their own characteristics, and you can still select some based on their characteristics.
Jay Chou's songs can be roughly divided into four styles. Of course, this is my personal opinion. If you don't like it, don't criticize it.
The first type is the typical Jay style. Songs in this category include Qili Xiang, Love in B.C., Chapter 7 of Night, etc. Back then, the whole school was singing Qili Xiang. The light and youthful atmosphere is still unforgettable. The pinnacle of this type of songs should be Qili Xiang. . If In the Name of the Father is included in this category, it is also considered the pinnacle song.
The second type is Jay Chou’s Chinese style. In those years, the Chinese style that originated from Jay quickly swept the Chinese music scene, but what I like most is the Chinese style that belongs to Jay. For example, Dongfeng Po, Blue and White Porcelain, Fa Ruxue, Hongchen Inn, etc. The top ones should be Blue and White Porcelain and Hongchen Inn. To this day, when I listen to these two pieces of music, I still fall into that artistic conception and cannot extricate myself.
The third type is some songs with very special melodies, such as Nocturne, Sunny Day, Stranded, Fireworks Easily Cold, The Longest Movie, etc. Of course, the pinnacle piece is the Nocturne. When I heard the Nocturne, I was astonished. I never thought there was such a piece and such shocking music.
The fourth type is that it is outside these songs and I don’t know how to divide them, such as Locus, Peninsula Iron Box, etc. Is it true that these cannot be divided into peaks? Because there are too many, it is impossible to choose. These are all my humble opinions, please forgive me if I disagree.
