Mitchell Carson

In the movie, Michelle Carson is an undercover agent of the Nazi organization Hydra hidden in S.H.I.E.L.D. In the comics, he was originally a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and was expected to become Ant-Man's successor, but the Ant-Man suit was accidentally stolen by the third-generation Ant-Man. So he put on a makeshift battle suit to recapture the real Ant-Man suit, and was severely burned in the battle. He later became a serial killer, using SHIELD's resources to cover up his crimes, and was eventually sent to prison by Iron Man.

San Quentin State Prison

The prison where Scott Lang served his sentence at the beginning of the film is San Quentin State Prison, where a famous Marvel character was once imprisoned. The (anti)hero - Frank Castle the Punisher.

The Punisher will be played by Jon Bernthal in the second season of the Netflix series "Daredevil".

Jack & Darby

Scott Lang's pseudonym when working at Baskin-Robbins was Jack, and his partner was named Darby. In reality, Jack and Darby are the names of the children of actor Paul Rudd.

Milgrom Hotel

The place where Scott lived after being released from prison was called "Milgrom Hotel", which is a tribute to the comic book author Al Milgrom.

Hope van Dyne

To be precise, Hope van Dyne does not exist in the comics. But in the alternate universe (alternate universe) MC2, the original Ant-Man Hank Pym and the Wasp Janet did have a daughter named Hope Pym, but she later became a villain, also called the Red Queen.

Amazing Stories

When villain Darren Cross gave a speech to investors, he mentioned the legend of Ant-Man during the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, describing it as "tales to astonish” (a surprising legend).

The original Ant-Man, Hank Pym, made his debut in the 1962 comic "Tales to Astonish" No. 27 "The Man in the Ant Hill". Comics author Stan Lee once said that because that issue sold so well, he decided to make Pym a superhero. As a result, Hank Pym returned in issue 35, "Return of Ant-Man".

Yellowjacket

In the movie, Darren Cross researched and developed a suit and became the villain Yellowjacket. In the comics, Yellowjacket is actually the alter ego of Hank Pym. Therefore, the line "I put too much of myself into you" in the play can be regarded as an easter egg for those who read comics.

In later comics, a thief named Rita DeMara stole Pim's Yellow Jacket suit and joined the villain organization Masters of Evil, but she eventually changed her ways and became A member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Darren Cross is a self-made millionaire in the comics who once ran a technology company, Cross Technological Enterprises (a model of this company appears in the movie). Darren suffered from severe heart disease, so his doctors implanted a heart replacement in his body, but the device changed his physiological metabolism, eventually turning him into a vein-prone brute.

Scott later fought Darren, and Darren died of heart failure during the battle.

The Ten Rings Gang

In the film, among a group of businessmen interested in purchasing the technology of the Yellow Shirt Man, one of them has a tattoo of The Ten Rings on his neck. The Ten Rings are a terrorist organization headed by the Mandarin that appears many times in the "Iron Man" series.

Cassie Lang

In the movie, Sterk Lang's daughter Cassie is just a little girl. In the comics, her name is Cassandra. When she was a teenager, she stole Pym particles and gained the ability to zoom in and out like her father. She became the superhero Stature and later joined the Young Avengers.

First Adventure

When Scott put on the Ant-Man suit for the first time, he was swept away in the bathtub and later met the rat, which is consistent with the comic Marvel Presents Issue 11 has a similar plot.

Garrret Morris

After putting on the Ant-Man uniform for the first time, Scott experienced a series of collisions and was finally thrown onto the roof of a taxi. The taxi driver happened to be Garrret Morris, who played Ant-Man on Saturday Night Live in the 1970s.

Number 247

The number of Scott’s best ant companion Antony is 247. This number is related to the original comic. Hank Pym made his first appearance in Tales to Astonish Issue 27, while Scott Lang made his first appearance in Marvel Premiere Issue 47.

Sokovia

In the film, the newspaper in the hand of a cable car passenger has the title "Who's To Blame For Sokovia?" (Who is responsible for Sokovia?), which echoes the Avengers. 2 ends with the destruction of Sokovia, a city in Central and Eastern Europe.

Avengers

When Scott suggested to Hank Pym that they should ask the Avengers to deal with Darren Cross, Pym replied: They are busy Dropping cities out of the sky also echoes the plot of Avengers 2.

The Quantum Realm

The Quantum Realm is a bit like the "five-dimensional space" in "Interstellar", where it is not affected by time and space. Eagle-eyed viewers discovered that before the film took us into the deepest part of the quantum realm, some lights, shadows and clouds formed a silhouette that looked very like the Wasp, which means that in the future, Hank Pym's wife "The Wasp" may have the opportunity to return to the real world.

The quantum realm is called the Microverse in the comics, and it has a team of superheroes called "Micronauts" (Micronauts?).

The Wasp

In the movie, Hank Pym's wife Janet van Dyne (The Wasp) dismantles a Soviet Union sent to the United States A missile entered the quantum realm. This is very similar to her fate in the comics - Janet disappeared during the "Mysterious Invasion" incident, and later Hank learned that she did not die, but entered the Microverse.

New Avengers Headquarters

The new Avengers Headquarters that appeared at the end of "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron" appears in this film, where Ant-Man and Falcon meet place.

Little Red Chair

In Hank Pym's house, we can see a small red chair. In the comics, he used Pym particles to shrink a red chair.

It’s a Small World

In the final act of theft, Louis insists on blowing a whistle to conceal his identity. The song he played was "It's a Small World", the theme music of the famous Disneyland attraction.

Test footage

The action shots of Ant-Man at Pym Tech in the film basically replicate the test footage shot by former director Edgar Wright.

Star Wars

The sound effect of the yellow shirt man’s ray is a bit familiar? That's because Skywalker Sound reused the AT-AT firing sounds from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

The severed hand meme

Every film in the second phase of Marvel has a severed hand meme, which is a tribute to Luke Skywalker's severed hand in "Star Wars" .

"Iron Man 3": Dr. Aldrich Killian had his hand chopped off for attacking Iron Man.

"Thor: The Dark World": Thor, the God of Thunder, was betrayed by his brother Loki in a vision and his hand was tragically cut off.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier": Bucky lost his arm after falling into a valley, and was later equipped with a mechanical arm.

"Guardians of the Galaxy": Groot, the tree man, had his arms cut off during the fight with Gamora, but he was quickly reborn.

"Avengers 2: Age of Ultron": One scene shows Ulysses Klaw's hand being cut off by Ultron, and the other scene shows Hulkbuster Armor Veronica breaking an arm while fighting the Hulk.

The protagonist of this film with a severed hand is Darren Cross, the man in yellow.

Stan Lee

At the end of the film, Lewis describes the process of Falcon's search for Scott in detail, in which he mentions a bartender who is the guest star. Played by Stan Lee.

Little Spider

At the end of the film, Falcon asked a girl about Ant-Man, and she mentioned a group of superheroes, "We've got one that jumps, we 've got one that swings, we've got one that crawls up the walls." These characteristics are completely consistent with a superhero we are familiar with - Spider-Man.

The new Spider-Man is played by young actor Tom Holland and will make a cameo appearance in "Captain America: Civil War".

Marvel Phase 3

In the ending Easter egg, Captain America and Falcon found Bucky in a mysterious place. According to Marvel president Kevin Feige, this is one of the scenes from Captain America: Civil War, and another version will be aired when it is officially released, so I can consider this clip as Marvel Phase 3 ’s first trailer!
