The Royal Conservatory of Music in Granada, Spain, is an undergraduate public institution. The school was founded in 1922, when it was named after Queen VICTORIA EUGENIA, the wife of King ALFAONSO XIII of Spain. At present, the college relies on the music education system of the local government in Andalusia for teaching. The system consists of more than 6 music primary schools, 14 middle schools and 4 higher music institutions.

The college has a very beautiful palace building in the Renaissance style in the 16th century and a campus decorated with marble columns and impressionist plants and arts.

The college is engaged in the following courses of bachelor's degree in music: piano, guitar, vocal music, orchestral instruments, composition, music theory and music pedagogy. Degrees higher than bachelor's degree (master's degree and doctor's degree) will be obtained in another two academic years. Our teaching aim is to provide outstanding music students with a unique professional music art and a good education in music-related majors.

Credit system

Students studying for a bachelor's degree must 2 points for all majors in performance and theory, and 25 points for composition. All credits are allocated to four years of study. (Each credit stands for 1 hours of class)

Royal Granada Conservatory of Music-Enrollment

Every April, enrollment notices are issued to students of all professional courses. The time for students to apply for the exam is May 15th. Music test (audition, audition) and entrance examination will be held in the college at the end of June and the beginning of July. Classes begin in September.

The focus of our education is to encourage students to develop their personal strengths. The college is also very honored to invite members of the Grenada City Orchestra as visiting professors of the college to teach senior students with full-time professors of the college on a regular basis.
