Introduction to Zhang Guangtian

Zhang Guangtian was born in Shanghai in July 1966. In 1985, he formed the "Goodbye" creative group and the "Sun Companions" urban folk singing group, which were the earliest modern folk bands in Shanghai. During the "Company of the Sun" period, Zhang Guangtian composed a large number of songs and actively participated in performing arts activities. In the early 1990s, he moved to Beijing and engaged in record production and music creation for film and television dramas. He composed and produced more than a dozen records, and composed music for many movies and hundreds of TV series. In 1993, China Musicians Audio and Video Publishing House recorded and published a solo album for him.

In addition to creation, Zhang Guangtian also conducts related theoretical research. His theory mainly includes three aspects: Sino-Tibetan music system, folk music in the industrialization era, and modern record industry.
