Hoi An is one of Vietnam’s four “World Cultural and Natural Heritage Sites” and a famous tourist attraction in central Vietnam.
In Hoi An, the houses in the ancient town are all ancient buildings with considerable history. There are no modern new buildings mixed in and they are preserved authentically. However, there are only four buildings in the entire Hoi An ancient town. With five streets, visiting Hoi An is like walking into a corner of Jiangnan Ancient Town. Chinese-style buildings can be seen everywhere, and they are all well preserved and have not been damaged by the war. Now they are basically turned into tourist arts and crafts souvenir shops, or small restaurants and bars. Coffee shop, you can visit Hoi An Ancient Town in half a day.
Hoi An
The family hotels in Hoi An are very unique. They are all three or four stories high. There is a small garden in front of the door with several tables and Chairs are provided for visitors to relax. The exterior walls are all colored, blue, yellow, and green, and there are many flowers and plants planted there. It can be seen that life here is very leisurely.
The specialty of Hoi An is lanterns. At night, various lanterns are lit up at the entrance of the restaurant and on the eaves, so you can celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival every day. The fabric is made of local silk or silk, but the styles are just that.
Many people who have been to Mae Sen and Angkor say that if you go to Angkor, you don’t need to go to Hoi An
Maison. I feel that Mei Sen is a bit like a tasteless place in Cao Cao’s words. If you don’t go, it is a world cultural heritage. It is right in front of you. It would be a pity not to go. If you go, it is very small, just like the size of a temple in Angkor, and has the same style as Angkor. It doesn't make much sense. I thought I would take a walk when I arrived, since I hadn’t been to Angkor yet, so it was just a warm-up.
Hoi An was known as the "Dachang Port" in ancient times and was the seaport of the Cham Kingdom at that time. Both Chinese and European merchant ships would come here to do business, so it has become one of the most important commercial ports in Southeast Asia. Walking on the street, Chinese and French buildings are mixed. There is no noise like ordinary cities in Vietnam here, only tranquility and leisure scenery.
Canaan Island
Canaan Island is located on the other side of the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. You can take a ferry from the Bach Duong Road Pier in Hoi An. Influenced by the ancient town of Hoi An, the local government has been committed to tourism development for many years, building a water coconut grove with bamboo bridges, fishing pavilions and other facilities in the forest, and also placing fish fry for fishing. In addition to the traditional water coconut grove tour on the island, tourists' dining problems can be solved in the island's farmhouses. All vegetables are taken from their own vegetable plots and are purely natural with zero chemical fertilizers. The taste is completely different from what you can buy in supermarkets in the city. People who have experienced it have good reputation.
Natural landscape
Not long after the car drove out of Dangang, it entered the green and beautiful scenery. Because the short one-hour journey from Dangan to Hoi An was rated as one of the fifty places that must be visited in a lifetime by the National Geographic magazine, no one dared to sleep for fear of missing any beautiful scenery on the way.
Hoi An is my favorite city in Vietnam. Compared with the liveliness of Hanoi, the rich cultural atmosphere of Hue and the atmosphere of Saigon, Hoi An is like a small home, which makes people love and reluctant to leave. The family hotels in Hoi An are very unique. They are all three or four stories high. There is a small garden in front of the door, with several tables and chairs for tourists to relax.
The exterior walls are all colored, blue, yellow, and green, and there are many flowers and plants planted in Hoi An. It can be seen that life here is very leisurely.
Hoi An is the place where the largest number of overseas Chinese live in Vietnam. In the 17th century, Chinese merchants came and went on the Thu Bon River for border trade, deeply rooting Chinese culture here. To this day, people can still find the profound influence of Chinese culture on this land from the "condensing music". Chinese characters can be seen everywhere on ancient buildings, which also makes people feel that they are not a guest in a foreign land. In the evening in Hoi An, the wind is soft and cool, and the heat of the day is swept away. Riding a bicycle while walking through the ancient city, the bright or dark lights reflect a hazy beauty through various lanterns, making the ancient city more charming and full of vitality.
Every household has set up a stall, the shopkeepers are sitting on benches chatting at the street corner, and the lantern seller
Hoi An
The old lady is sitting at the door I am sewing the lantern in my hand bit by bit. The shop floor behind me is filled with unformed lantern skeletons. From time to time, I can hear a few inquiries from the alley. Everything here is soft, and I don’t know where the music is coming from. , echoing melodiously over the entire ancient city.
Cultural Landscape
40 kilometers away from Hoi An, there is a place that, like Hoi An, is included in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. They are equally ancient, that is MysonValley. It is a holy land in the hearts of Vietnamese people and is also known as "Angkor in Vietnam". My Son is related to an ancient dynasty, which is the famous Champa dynasty in Vietnamese history.
The Champa Dynasty was once known as the "three ancient kingdoms in Southeast Asia" together with the Kingdom of Chenla, which built Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and the Kingdom of Haring, which built the Borobudur Pagoda in Java. Even in the cultural and economic history of Asia and the world, the Champa Kingdom once occupied an extremely important historical position.

Like many famous dynasties in the world, after its prosperity, only some exquisite but dilapidated ruins were left in the Champa dynasty. Meishan is the Champa dynasty. The most important holy place left in the kingdom. In addition to the main building, there are many shapes of gods. Unfortunately, many of them have become decapitated due to the passage of time, and some have no hands, which makes people feel very sorry.
