Does Fujian Nanyin have a Yueqin?

The accompaniment instruments of Fujian Nanyin do not have Yueqin. Generally, they use clapper, Pipa (Nanpa, Quxiang Pipa), Nanyin Dongxiao (shakuhachi), Erxian (the predecessor of Erhu), Sanxian, Nan Ai, two bells, four treasures, and a ringing lamp. Shakuhachi is what we commonly call "dongxiao". The second string of Nanyin is similar to the "Xi Qin" of the Wei and Jin Dynasties, and the clapper is the same as the "Jie" of the pre-Tang Dynasty. When singing southern songs in Minnan dialect, many vocabulary and phonology of ancient Central Plains dialects have been well preserved to this day.
