Yan'an is the cradle of literature and art in New China and the foundation of the Central Conservatory of Music. He Jingzhi wrote in "Back to Yan'an": "I have returned to Yan'an several times in my dreams, holding Pagoda Mountain in my arms. Thousands of voices are calling you - mother Yan'an is here!". The Central Conservatory of Music is one of the important inheritance units of Yan'an Lu Yi, inheriting the red gene and carrying forward the spirit of Lu Yi in the new era. We hope to express our high respect and heartfelt blessings to the people of Yan'an and the old areas through this concert.

This concert demonstrated the excellent teaching achievements of folk music at the Central Conservatory of Music and presented the highest level of folk music performance in the country today. Teachers and students from the Central Conservatory of Music won the gold medal in the 2019 National Instrumental Music TV Competition held by China Central Radio and Television. There were also two National Chamber Orchestras of the Central Conservatory of Music and the Shengfeng Chamber Orchestra that won the highest national award for national chamber music and folk music groups. The award-winning outstanding orchestra's dedication, as well as two classic pieces of music presented by Professor Yu Hongmei, Vice President of the Central Conservatory of Music, to the Yan'an audience will provide the audience with a splendid folk music feast.
