Bolero has many translation names. "Bolero" was created by French composer Maurice Ravel in 1928. "Boleiro" is Ravel's last dance work, one of his best dance music works, and a masterpiece of French symphony music in the 20th century. This piece was commissioned by Ravel from the famous dancer Ida Rubinstein. Folk dance style melodies are the basis of this work. "Bolero" is originally the name of a Spanish dance music, usually with a four-three beat, a slightly faster speed, and a castanet hitting rhythm.
