considering that the self-driving trip to Tibet took a long time, and the girls had a lot of luggage, CC and I specially chose a Chuanqi M8. 1. Chengdu-Batang
Climbing over two high mountains with an altitude of more than 4, meters in succession, how can TA not be reversed?
The first stop from Chengdu is Ya 'an, the edge of Sichuan Basin. After eating the famous "pepper chicken" here, I continued to drive west. After passing through Erlang Mountain, the climate is completely different, and the snow-capped mountains are far away.
Moving on, we arrived at Luding by the Dadu River. The classic battle of "Flying over Luding Bridge" happened here. Standing on the bridge paved with chains and two planks, a group of warriors strafed with enemy machine guns decades ago and climbed the chains to lay planks for the troops behind them, which was of great significance.
Stand on Happy Valley Mountain and overlook Kangding City
Kangding, a city built on a mountain, with a Kangding River running through it, not only Happy Valley Mountain but also famous Kangding love songs. Driving Chuanqi M8 in this small town, CC and I also listened to a "Wandering Song" in the "Wandering City".
TIPS
in the first few days of entering the plateau, you should control your accommodation below 3 meters above sea level, and you should not be overworked. Kangding is the best choice for the first stop.
after Kangding, the real challenge has just begun. The first thing I encountered was the first pass into Tibet, Zheduo Mountain at an altitude of 4,28 meters.
After the photo was taken, the parking lot that was not so crowded just now was full of cars, and our car was caught in the middle. Fortunately, Chuanqi M8 had an electric side sliding door, and CC quickly got into the car from the second row to keep warm.
After crossing the Zheduo Mountain and passing through xinduqiao, you arrive at Yajiang, the smallest county in China, with an area of less than .8 square kilometers. Although the city is small, it has a great reputation. It has been an important ferry crossing of the Yalong River since ancient times and is known as the "first crossing of the ancient tea-horse road".

Parking here is a technical job, and it is a little difficult to turn around because of the narrow roads and many cars. We encountered a "dilemma" when we went to the hotel parking lot, and the parking space was extremely narrow. Fortunately, Chuanqi M8 had a 36-degree panoramic reversing image, otherwise it would be really difficult to park in.

Zheduo means "bending" in Tibetan. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can look around the Gongga Peak in king of the hill, which is also the first challenging mountain on the Sichuan-Tibet line.
The next trip will be very challenging for us. We have to climb two high mountains with an altitude of more than 4, meters continuously, and I don't know whether Chuanqi M8 can take us through smoothly. I am a little unsure. After all, this is an MPV full of luggage. Through the Jianziwan Mountain Tunnel at an altitude of 4,2 meters, and then to the Kazilashan Pass at an altitude of 4,718 meters, CC and I both experienced obvious discomfort, chest tightness and shortness of breath, so we quickly took out a few breaths of oxygen to relieve it.
If the hyperreflexia is graded, and we both have moderate symptoms, Chuanqi M8 can only be mild. 2.T displacement at an altitude of 5m, although there is a certain loss of power, it is definitely not in the state of "weakness", but it has a good performance. Although we are both boring, Chuanqi M8 has not held back.

In Litang, Ding Zhen's hometown, we also found a Chuanqi M8 that entered Tibet. CC said that it seems that we are not the only ones who want to "lie down" and go to Tibet.
We chose Batang as the last night before entering Tibet, not only because it is the border between Sichuan and Tibet, but also because it is only 2,5 meters above sea level, which is suitable for staying for one night to replenish our strength.
2. Zuogong-Lhasa
It's a long way to Tibet, but fortunately, there is TA, and the fatigue is swept away
After crossing the Jinsha River Bridge, it officially entered Tibet, where all vehicles entering Tibet need to be inspected and their ID cards can be checked before they can pass.
After leaving Mangkang, we continued along Panshan Road and entered the Lancang Grand Canyon. The relative drop of the Grand Canyon exceeded 1, meters, and the river was surging rapidly. Here, we also began to appreciate the high altitude drop and dangerous side of G318.
The weather on the plateau is changeable. One second, the sun is shining brightly, and the next second, it is raining heavily, which makes people unprepared. In the face of sudden rain, the induction wiper of Chuanqi M8 plays a great role. After all, traffic accidents are common because of poor sight, especially on such a dangerous road.

Zuogong is 3,75 meters above sea level, and the air is very cold, especially when the temperature is only five or six degrees in the morning. Chuanqi M8' s seat heating function brings us great happiness. The section from Zuogong to Ranwu is not long, only 28 kilometers, but it is the most dangerous section of the whole G318. After crossing Yela Mountain, it is the famous "Nujiang 72 Turn", which was also called "Desperate 18 Turn" before, and the winding Panshan Highway was built in zigzag. CC and I originally wanted to count how many turns there were, but this section of the road was too challenging for driving skills to take care of all kinds of road conditions.
The chassis of Chuanqi M8 is still solid, and the front and rear are equipped with independent suspensions. The bumps and bounces of the road will be suppressed by the suspension and tires, so the vibration transmitted to the chassis is very small, which brings a very stable feeling. Except that the engine is quiet and the tire noise is well isolated from the wind noise, it has not appeared the problem of "buzzing" sound drum in the back row, which is inevitable for most MPV models. Ranwu Lake, one of the sources of the Palong Zangbo River, finally flows into the Yarlung Zangbo River. Park the car by the lake, put down the second row of seats and lie on it, breathing the fresh air of Ranwu Lake. Chuanqi M8' s seat massage function swept away our fatigue.

With the music, I drove across the Tongmai Bridge, and I was a little hungry. We found a famous local Motuo stone pot chicken in the food map recommended by Xiaoqi. From Linzhi to Lhasa, take Linla Expressway, the whole journey is about 42 kilometers. This is also the only section of expressway after we set off from Kangding.

In Lhasa, we were very lucky, just in time for the annual Sagadawa Festival. The scene can hardly be described as shocking. On the bluestone floor in front of the Jokhang Temple, I saw many pilgrims kowtowing with their own mats, constantly reciting scriptures in their mouths, men and women of all ages, bowing down with all their bodies. And every time you bow down, it is the most pious ritual Buddha, and it is also a washing of the soul. Being among them, I felt the firm power of faith.
