Showa 8 (1933), 27 years old, asked the playwright Shin Hasegawa for help. Published "Ginza and Girls' School" in "Public Club".

Showa 9 (1934), 28 years old. Because Yoshikawa Eiji broke the contract, he was angry and went to Yoshikawa's house to beat him.

Showa 10 (1935) 29 years old. Published works such as "Snow Crash" in magazines.

Serialized "Land Breakwater" at the age of 30 in Showa 11 (1936).

Showa 18 (1943), 37 years old, serialized one of his personal masterpieces, "Shield", in "The King".

Showa 19 (1944), 38 years old. His work "Marshal Yamamoto Isoroku" was recommended by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology and the 9th Japan Publishing Association. "Shield" has also become the recommended book for the 13th session. The works were published in Chinese textbooks and became basic teaching materials.

Showa 33 (1958), 52 years old. "Tokugawa Ieyasu" serialized for more than 2,000 chapters, so he held a "Yamaoka Shohachi Celebration Party" through the "China-Japan Cultural Awards". The congratulatory guests included more than 400 people including Eiji Yoshikawa and Shiogoro Kaionji.

Showa 46 (1971), 65 years old. It took 10 years to complete "Pacific War" and then completed it. NHK is screening the Taiga drama based on Yamaoka's original work "Spring on the Road".

Showa 48 (1973), 67 years old, won the Niigata Broadcasting Culture Award and the Purple Ribbon Medal.

Showa 49 (1974), 68 years old, founded the "Japan Protection Association" at the Meiji Memorial Hall and became one of the representative members. Serialized "Tokugawa Iemitsu".

Showa 51 (1976) At the age of 70, a monument with characters in the square in front of the castle tower in Okazaki Park, Okazaki City was unveiled.

Showa 52 (1977) 71 years old. In June, the literary monument in Yagyu Hotokuji Temple was unveiled.

Showa 53 (1978) 72 years old. At 7:2 pm on September 30, he developed pneumonia and died at the Tokyo Ikebukuro Cancer Research Association Hospital. On October 6, he was awarded the second-class Ruibao Medal from the four honors.
