Car audio debugging methods: 1. First restore all the additional functions of the car head unit to the factory state, then center all the high, mid and bass, of course the left and right balance is the same. 2. Set the volume (gain) of the power amplifier to the lowest position (minimum)3. Set Filter (Filter Settings) to Off. 4.CROSSOVER is set to the lowest. 5. Subwoofer power amplifier is handled in the same way.
Step 1: Host debugging
Turn on the host, play some high-fidelity soundtracks or discs with stronger bass, and adjust the volume to half or 3/5. This makes it easier for the bass to match the bass in the front sound field, and it is also easier to produce full bass.
Step 2: Front sound field debugging
Let us increase the gain of CHANNEL-1/2 until the sound becomes louder, or reaches the maximum sound you can accept. Next, we turn down the volume of the host, put in a voice disc or a disc with strong low frequency, and then slowly increase the volume of the host until it is slightly louder than what you normally listen to. Okay, now you should listen carefully. Is the sound clear? Will there be a nasal sound? Or is your voice deep? If the sound is clear and has no nasal sound, or the low frequency is very elastic, there is no following "buzzing" sound, and the low frequency is not confused all of a sudden, then congratulations, your front door sound insulation and shock absorption installation basically gets full marks. Your front door bass will work best in this state.
Step 4: Adjust the rear sound field
No matter what state the front sound field is in, the rear sound field must be set to HP state, and the CROSSOVER (cutoff frequency) must be adjusted to about 150HZ. At this time, increase the volume of the host and increase the GAIN of the sound field behind the power amplifier at a normal high volume. It is correct to "feel" the sound from the front seats until the sound field comes out of the rear seats. If you can hear it, it's too loud.
Step 5: Bass adjustment
Bass adjustment is a key to car audio. A good adjustment will make a huge difference in the sound. (It’s best to have two people adjust the bass, one listening in the car and the other adjusting from behind). After the first four steps of debugging are completed, set the FILTER (filter setting) of the amplifier that drives the bass to the LP (low pass) position, turn the CROSSOVER (cutoff frequency) to the lowest position, and then turn the GAIN to half or 3/3 of the front sound field. 4. Then turn the volume of the host to the normal high position and put in a disc with stronger low frequency. If there's too much bass or confusion, the gain is too high. Come on, turn up the gain on the bass.
