(1) Restrictions on content:

According to the provisions of Article 4 of the "Measures for the Supervision of Imported and Exited Printed Materials and Audiovisual Products by the Customs of the People's Republic of China", Printed matter and audio-visual products with any of the following contents are prohibited from entering the country: those that oppose the basic principles established by the Constitution; those that endanger national unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity; those that endanger national security or damage national honor and interests; those that attack the Communist Party of China , slandering the People's Republic of China and the Chinese government; inciting ethnic hatred and discrimination, undermining ethnic unity, or infringing on ethnic customs and habits; promoting cults and superstitions; disrupting social order and undermining social stability; promoting obscenity and gambling , violence or instigating crimes; insulting or slandering others and infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of others; endangering social morality or the outstanding cultural traditions of the nation; entry prohibited by the competent national authorities; other contents prohibited by laws, administrative regulations and national regulations.

(2) Quantity restrictions:

According to the provisions of Article 7, if the imported printed matter and audio-visual products for personal use are within the following specified quantities, the customs will grant duty-free inspection and release: For audio and video products issued as a single disc (disk), the limit is no more than 20 sets per person per time; for audio and video products issued in sets, the limit is no more than 3 sets per person per time. If the quantity exceeds the quantity specified in Article 7, but is still within the reasonable quantity range for personal use, and does not fall under the circumstances of Article 9, the customs shall collect import taxes on imported items in accordance with the "Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Import and Export Tariffs" regarding the collection of import taxes on imported items. The specified quantity shall be taxed and released. Article 9 stipulates that if an individual carries or mails audio-visual products released in single discs (discs) into the country, each person may bring more than 100 sets at a time; if an individual carries or mails audio-visual products released in sets into the country, each person may bring or mail more than 10 sets of audio-visual products each time; The customs handles relevant procedures for all incoming audio and video products in accordance with the law as imported goods.
