Full poem: People are idle, osmanthus flowers are falling, the night is quiet and the spring mountains are empty. The moonrise scares the mountain birds, and they sing in the spring stream.

Translation: There is no sound, the fragrant osmanthus flowers are falling gently. The green mountains and green forests look even more empty. The bright moon rises, startling a few roosting mountain birds. The crisp chirping echoes in the empty mountain stream for a long time.

Wang Wei, a famous poet and painter in the Tang Dynasty, had the courtesy name Mojie and the name Mojie layman. He was known as "Wang Youcheng" in the world. Because he believed in Buddhism, he was known as the "Poetry Buddha".
