In 1997, Liang Guohua was entrusted by composer Xu Peidong to compose the lyrics for the theme song of the TV series "Yongzheng Dynasty".

In order to reproduce history truly and artistically, Liang Guohua read through about 5 million words of materials including the script and novels "Emperor Yongzheng", "General History of the Qing Dynasty", "Donghua Lu" and "Yongzheng Biography", and " Emperor Yongzheng, who was "infamous after his death", had a new understanding, and the image of a character who lamented that "the hardest thing in the world is to be an emperor" basically took shape in Liang Guohua's mind.

Afterwards, Liang Guohua discussed with TV series producers, composers and others several times, and finally reached a consensus that the theme song creation should adhere to three principles: respecting history, reproducing history, and restoring history. After this series of study, thinking and research, the theme song "He who wins the hearts of the people wins the world" was born.
