The meaning of the name "BTS" is "to block the prejudice and malice against the tenth and twenties, and protect their own music with dignity." The name is the president of BigHit Entertainment, the company where the group is located. Fang Shihyuk gave them the name in the hope that they could block their prejudices and concentrate on doing their own things.
The prototype of BTS originated in 2010. Bang Si-hyuk, the representative of South Korea's BigHit Entertainment, was impressed by Kim Nam-joon's voice when he heard it for the first time. In 2010, Kim Nam-joon was just a newcomer in the rap circle. After signing him, Bang Si-hyuk used him as the center to interview and select the rest. Six members. After more than two years of preparation, BTS finally formed a group.
