Lyrics to the water town in my dream:
Spring Dusk
Please accompany me to the water town in my dream
Let the waving hands
Drifting in the mist
Don’t wake up the willow bank
Those lingering past events
Turn into a wisp of smoke
Disappeared into the distance
The warm afternoon
Pieces of pink clothes flashed past
No one can carry them away
That ancient window
The exquisite young man on the shore
Waiting for a lifetime
Why can’t I be the bride you longed for
A touch of lovesickness is written on the face
A heavy farewell is carried on the shoulders
Tears flowed down the face
All the words are still unsaid
Look at the green mountains rippling on the water
Look at the sunset kissing the sunset
I use the love of my life to find that home
Where are you tonight
I turned around to face your smile
You discovered all my thoughts
The distant happiness in my dream is right beside me
Creative background of Water Village in Dreams:
One early morning in the summer of 1993, composer Zhou Di approached his friend Luo Bing and asked Luo Bing to write lyrics for the melody he had just written. Luo Bing felt that the melody of the song was as tender as water, and he was awakened from a dream, so he named it "Dream Water Village" and filled in the lyrics the next day.
In 1994, music agent Wang Xiaojing asked actor Jiang Shan to sing "Dream Water Town", saying that this song was particularly suitable for Jiang Shan's voice.
