Professor Qian Renkang has been committed to the translation of foreign song lyrics since he compiled the "Middle School Music Textbook" in 1946. Over the past 60 years, he has translated more than 800 songs, such as:

1. Qian Renkang edited " "Middle School Music Textbooks" three volumes, published by the Music Education Association in 1947-1948. Among them, there are 32 foreign songs with lyrics translated by the editor (10 in the first volume, 7 in the second volume, and 15 in the second volume).

2. In the 1960s, more than 100 Soviet songs were translated, but they were confiscated and lost during the "Cultural Revolution". Only a few songs remain, such as "Who Knows Him", "Holy War", "Waiting" "I" and other works were later published in "Selected Works of Soviet Songs" (edited by Xue Fan, published by Shanghai Music Publishing House in 1987), "Romance of Love" (published by Shanghai Music Publishing House in May 1991), "Soviet Songs 101" "First" (published by People's Music Publishing House in 1991) and other song collections.

3. "Compilation of National Anthems of Various Countries" compiled by Qian Renkang (internally released by the People's Music Publishing House in May 1981), contains the national anthems of 154 countries, each with its own score and annotations, except for the national anthem of my country and a few countries. Except for the instrumental music and the national anthem, the lyrics are all translated into Chinese by the editor and can be sung to music.

4. "Selected Interpretations of European and American Revolutionary Historical Songs" co-edited by Qian Renkang, Cai Liangyu, and Zhong Ren (published by Culture and Art Publishing House in September 1989), including 61 foreign revolutionary songs translated by Qian Renkang .

5. "World National Anthem Expo" compiled by Qian Renkang (published by Northern Literature and Art Publishing House in January 1998), contains the national anthems of 190 independent countries, each with its score and "National Anthem History" or "National Anthem Introduction" , describe the historical background of the national anthem and the evolution of the old and new national anthems. All current foreign national anthems and old national anthems with lyrics are translated into Chinese by translators and can be sung with music. A total of 164 current national anthems and 71 old national anthems have been translated.

6. Qian Renkang's translation and annotation of "A Collection of Traditional German Songs Translated from Chinese" (published by Hunan Literature and Art Publishing House in September 2000), which contains 176 traditional German songs. The lyrics of each song are translated into Chinese, and there are song notes explaining the origin of the lyrics and music.

9. Translation of more than 170 ancient music scores

1. In 1941, the side scores of 17 lyrics in Jiang Kui's "Songs of the Taoist Baishi" were translated into five-line notation.
