The "March of the Chinese People's Liberation Army" is Military song of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Written by Gong Mu and composed by Zheng Lucheng, it was composed in 1939. It is a song in the "Eighth Route Army Cantata" and was originally called "Eighth Route Army March". During the Chinese People's Liberation War, the "March of the Eighth Route Army" was renamed the "March of the People's Liberation Army" with slight changes in the lyrics. Subsequently, it was renamed several times. In 1965, it was changed to the "March of the Chinese People's Liberation Army" and is still in use today.
