My favorite is the Eagles’ guitar solo in Hotel California. The Eagles are one of my favorite rock bands. They were founded in Los Angeles, USA in the 1970s. My favorite song, "Hotel California," ranks 37th among the five hundred greatest albums in history ranked by Rolling Stone. In 1998, the Eagles were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Although they once disbanded, after regrouping in 1994, they still won the support of a large number of fans by touring various places. Unfortunately, Glenn Frey, the lead singer of the Eagles, passed away in January 2016.
Speaking of the guitar solo in "Hotel California", we have to mention the guitarist of the Eagles. The band's original guitarist Don Felder was undoubtedly the most skilled in the entire band. In 1974, Don Felder joined the band because of his classmate relationship with Bernie Leadon, becoming the fifth member of the Eagles. Because of his high level of guitar, his addition made up for the Eagles' lack of instrumental accompaniment. After he joined, Bernie Leadon focused on his best banno and rhythm guitar, and the role of lead guitar fell to Don Felder alone. However, his edge in the band was overshadowed by Frey and Henley. In 2001 Don Felder left the band.
The song "Hotel California" can be said to be a masterpiece completed by the Eagles at their best. It almost vented all the sadness and confusion of the 1970s. It topped the charts for eight consecutive weeks in 1977. The most unique thing about this song is the dual guitar playing of Don Felder and Joe Walsh.
Someone said: After listening to "Hotel California", I silently picked up the guitar; after listening to "Hotel California", I silently put down the guitar again. This shows the charm of the guitar solo in this song.
