Dance Performance and Education Major
Subjects and requirements:
1. Preliminary test (basic dance skills): kicking, moving, controlling the front and rear legs; small jumps , middle jump, split jump, horizontal double flying swallow (male), leaping leg jump, purple gold crown, crawling leg jump, flying kick (male), spinner (male), barbarian (male), bungee (male) ); four-position turn, flat turn, swinging side turn or side-leg turn; point turn, string turn, sweeping hall (male), and praise step (male). The above various skills can be demonstrated in a comprehensive manner. Candidates should wear training clothes for the first test (women: gymnastics clothes and pantyhose; men: singlet and tight training pants);
2. Retest: dance performance (limited to Within three minutes, bring your own accompaniment CD; candidates must carefully check the quality of the CD. If CD quality problems affect the exam, the candidate will be responsible) and dance imitation.
Scores and admissions:
1. The total score of the college entrance examination cultural courses reaches the score line set by our college; according to the published enrollment plan, admissions will be made from high to low according to the professional structure. ;
2. Professional structure score (percentage system) = 50 for the preliminary examination (basic dance skills) and 50 for the re-examination (dance performance and imitation).
Wuhan Conservatory of Music is one of the nine independently established music conservatories in the country and the only independently established higher music institution in central China.
Wuhan Conservatory of Music is located in the historic ancient city of Wuchang. The old campus is located at No. 255 Jiefang Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and the adjacent new campus is located at No. 1 Zhangzhidong Road, Wuchang District.
As of 2013, the college has 6,080 students of various types, including 446 graduate students, 4,499 undergraduate students, 277 undergraduate and junior college students in adult education, 769 students in the attached middle school, and 89 students in the attached primary school.
