General Rules and Regulations of the 13th Suzhou Sports Games The 13th Suzhou Sports Games will be held by us. The city's sports work has deeply implemented the scientific outlook on development, closely focused on the overall goal of building "three districts and three cities", and further implemented important work measures for the strategy of strengthening the city through sports. In order to ensure that all competition activities are standardized, orderly and smoothly carried out, these general rules are formulated.
1. Competition date and location
It will be held in Suzhou from April to October 2012.
2. Competition Groups
This sports meeting has a student division and an adult division.
(1) Student Department: There are county-level city primary school students group (including Wuzhong District), district primary school students group, county-level city junior high school group (including Wuzhong District), urban junior high school group, county-level city High school group, urban high school group, technical school group, and college student group.
(2) Adult Department: There are employee group, farmer group, elderly group, disabled group (the 5th Suzhou Sports Games for People with Disabilities), and foreign enterprise group (the 4th Suzhou Sports Games for Foreign-Invested Enterprises) .
3. Competition items
(1) Student Department.
1. Competitive events.

IV. Participating units
(1) County-level city primary school students group (including Wuzhong District), district primary school students group, county-level city junior high school group (including Wuzhong District), county Competitive events in the high school group at the municipal level are contested on a county-level city and district basis, while science and technology intelligence projects are contested on a school-level basis.
(2) The urban junior high school group and the urban high school group will compete on a school basis.
(3) The technical school group competes on a school basis.
(4) The college student group will compete in Suzhou ordinary universities and independent colleges.
(5) The employee group participates in the competition in units of county-level city and district federations of trade unions (trade union federations, trade union working committees), trade unions in each bureau (company), and trade unions in directly affiliated units.
(6) The farmer group will compete in county-level cities and districts.
(7) The elderly group competes in units of county-level cities, districts, schools, social sports coaching stations and other elderly groups.
(8) The disabled group will compete in county-level cities and districts.
(9) The foreign enterprise group shall take part in the competition with foreign-invested enterprises (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) established in Suzhou.
5. Athletes’ Qualifications
(1) Anyone who has been certified by the medical department to be healthy and in compliance with the competition regulations can register to participate.
(2) Each athlete can only represent one unit in competitions in up to two events (major events) in one category, and is not allowed to compete across categories or age groups.
(3) Establish a qualification review committee to review the qualifications of participating athletes.
(4) Participating units that commit disciplinary violations such as falsification of athlete qualifications, impersonation, etc. will be severely dealt with in accordance with regulations.
(5) Specific provisions.
Student Department:
1. Participate in the county-level primary school student group (including Wuzhong District), district primary school student group, county-level city junior high school group (including Wuzhong District), urban area The athlete qualifications for the junior high school group, county-level city high school group, and urban high school group are subject to the relevant documents of the Municipal Sports Bureau and the Municipal Education Bureau.
2. Athletes participating in the technical school competition must be students with a student status in Suzhou.
3. Athletes participating in the college student competition must be full-time non-sports major postgraduates, undergraduates, and junior college students enrolled in the plan in Suzhou.
Adult Division:
1. Athletes participating in the employee group competition should be over 18 years old (born before December 31, 1993), and must be in the same place before December 31, 2011 Regular employees who work on behalf of the unit.
2. Athletes participating in the farmer group competition must be farmers or fishermen registered in Suzhou City.
3. Athletes participating in the senior group competition must be retirees.
4. Athletes participating in the competition for persons with disabilities must be persons with disabilities registered in Suzhou.
5. Athletes participating in the foreign enterprise group competition must be regular employees of the unit they represent before December 31, 2011, and have paid social security or provident fund for three months, regardless of nationality and identity. .
VI. Competition Methods
(1) Competition methods for each event shall be implemented in accordance with the respective competition regulations.
(2) Each project must have more than 2 (including 2) participating units registered, otherwise the project will be cancelled.
(3) Implement the latest competition rules and relevant supplementary regulations approved by the State Sports General Administration.
7. Admission Ranking and Reward Methods
(1) The top three in each competition event will be awarded gold, silver and bronze medals respectively.
(2) The admission rankings of each individual event shall be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the respective competitions, and the winners will be awarded certificates respectively.
(3) The student department will rank the team’s total score and gold medal list. Relevant scoring and card counting methods will be issued separately.
(4) The competitions of adult employee group, disabled group, and foreign enterprise group will be ranked by total team score and gold medal list. (5) There are "Winner Award" and "Excellence Award" for the adult department display projects. The relevant selection methods and requirements are determined in the individual competition regulations.

8. Organization and Implementation
(1) Under the leadership of the municipal government, the 13th Suzhou Sports Games Organizing Committee (Organizing Committee) is composed of relevant persons in charge from various localities and relevant departments.
