Zhang Meng's early experience:
Zhang Meng, born in Tianjin on March 6, 1981, graduated from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and is a film and television actress and producer in Mainland China. In 2004, Zhang Meng won the 53rd Miss Universe China Championship, and she entered the entertainment industry.
Zhang Meng was born in a musical family and started learning piano at the age of 3. Her father was the former principal of the high school attached to Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and her mother worked at the Institute of Geology of the Ministry of Metallurgy. Such family education cultivated Zhang Meng has a good temperament. She has been learning piano since she was a child. She attended Tianjin Heping District Central Primary School and the Middle School Affiliated to Tianjin Conservatory of Music for her elementary and middle school education respectively.
In 1997, when she was in her second year of high school, Zhang Meng chose to study in Australia and continued to study piano. After graduating from high school, Zhang Meng was admitted to the University of New South Wales in Australia to study fashion design.
In 1998, 17-year-old Zhang Meng participated in the Miss Chinese Sydney beauty pageant and eventually won second place; Zhang Meng also served as a bilingual host for Sydney Chinese TV during her college years.
In 2000, Zhang Meng served as the bilingual host for a large-scale cultural evening in Sydney to welcome the Olympic athletes. In 2003, after graduating from the Fashion Design Department of the University of New South Wales, Zhang Meng chose to return to China for development and served as the host and piano teacher of China Education Channel.
