Creation background of Gulangyu Waves

In December p>1981, with the theme of "peaceful reunification" across the Taiwan Strait, the Fujian Provincial Party Committee jointly organized music collection activities with Taiwan Affairs Office, Taiwan Province Compatriots Association, Fujian People's Broadcasting Station and Fujian TV Station.

fourteen songwriters from home and abroad in Fujian province went to Pingtan, Jinjiang, Huian Chongwu, Xiamen and other places to experience the local culture of Fujian coastal areas, and created more than 1 songs with the theme of Taiwan Province.
