1. Pingdiao is one of the local operas in Hebei Province. It originated in Wu'an County in southern Hebei and is also called "Wu'an Pingdiao". The flat key is the lowest key among the Twelve Rhythms. It is popular in southern Hebei, northern Henan and southeastern Shanxi and is deeply loved by local people. The emergence of Ping Diao is said to have begun in the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.
