"The Street Where the Wind Lives" by Isomura Yukiko is a classic piece collaborated by Isomura Yukiko and the famous Japanese erhu player Masao Sakashita in 2003. The dialogue between erhu and piano is refreshing. On the whole, the erhu is more important than the piano, or the appeal exceeds the piano. The sadness of the erhu outweighs the romance of the piano here. The piano and the erhu are intertwined, talking to each other and loving each other, but they will never overlap. It's like two lovers who can never be together.
