Pure music "emmanuel" comes from "wings", written by Michel Colombier. From the age of 6, Colombier was taught piano, harmony, counterpoint and conducting by his father.
He began improvising before he was a teenager and soon joined jazz groups and wrote music for them.
At the same time, he continued his studies with his father, especially church organ and Gregorian chant. Service in the French army did not interrupt his music, he continued to perform with a wide range of groups and also pursued his interests in composition and arrangement.
In 1961 he studied with the avant-garde composer Michel Magne and later became musical director of Barclay Records, where he arranged for Charles Charles Aznavour's first English-language album.
Colombi was also active in writing songs for many television commercials. Beginning in the mid-1960s and continuing for the rest of his life, Colombia was best known for his film work. First in France and then in the United States, he wrote leads, themes, songs and complete scores, working on dozens of projects.
