"History of Being a Soldier" is A song sung by Cai Guoqing and Hang Tianqi, with music composed by Yin Qing and lyrics written by Li Feng, it was sung at the 1994 "Spring Breeze Again Full of the World" military and civilian New Year Gala.

The lyrics of the special version of the solo version have been modified and the song title is changed to "We Are Eighteen". The first song of "Colorful Military Camp" was sung by Cai Guoqing at the 2005 Military and Civilian New Year Gala, and was included in the 2009 "Cai Guoqing National Day - Thirty Years of Singing" and the 2012 "Selected Songs Sung by Cai Guoqing" albums middle.
