Special attention should be paid to:
Today's road traffic requires the driver's full attention at all times. You as the driver have full responsibility for traffic safety. Never operate a mobile terminal while driving, otherwise there is a risk of an accident!
-When connecting a device with a built-in USB plug (such as a USB flash drive), a USB extension cable should be used to avoid damage to your USB device and the Audi Music Docking Unit.
-If abnormally high or low temperatures occur in the vehicle, it may damage the mobile terminal device and/or affect its performance. Do not leave your mobile terminal device in the car under high or low temperatures.
-If the ignition switch is turned off, power will always be supplied to the USB port as long as the power management system does not interfere.
-If the mobile terminal is already equipped with a cable or must be connected via a USB adapter, it must not be connected to the Audi music plug-in device using another adapter or other USB extension cable. They can affect performance.
-The AUX connecting cable can be purchased from an Audi service station or specialist shop.
-Audi recommends that the volume of the mobile terminal device on the AUX interface be adjusted to approximately 70% of the maximum volume.
-For mobile terminal devices that do not comply with USB2.0 specifications, normal functionality cannot be guaranteed.
-USB hubs are not supported.
-Some iPod versions, such as iPodshuffle, cannot use USB adapters to connect to devices with Apple Dock Connector. Use the AUX connecting cable to connect these devices.
-Contents modified on the mobile terminal device connected to the Audi music dock may not be displayed in the media center. In this case, please restore the media settings to factory settings.
-Video playback via the Audi music dock is only supported if the connected device is recognized as a USB mass storage device (USB stick). Apple devices and MTP devices (such as smartphones) will not be recognized as USB mass storage.
-Interference on the iPod/iPhone can also affect operations via MMI. In such cases, you should perform a factory reset on your iPod/iPhone.
-The user manual for your iPod/iPhone contains important operating information for your iPod/iPhone. It is recommended to refresh the iPod/iPhone software to the latest version.
-For further information on the Audi music plug-in and supported devices, please consult the Audi database of mobile terminals on the Internet page www.audi.com/mp3 or contact your Audi dealer.
