This is Gloria
Gloria Tang (Gloria Tang) is a musician who was born and raised in Hong Kong and is very passionate about music. Gloria has released the album "Independent Queen" on Hong Kong's Rolling Stone Records with Chinese, Hong Kong and Taiwanese female singer-songwriters such as Chen Qizhen. In 2004, she also released her concept album "Good Morning Loria" in Hong Kong and Taiwan. She formed the concept group "goodmorningloria" with independent musician Edmund Leung (vocalist of Huh) and visual artist Tamshui. She continued to participate in composing, writing and singing. In 2006, she released the album "black coffee & broom candy" with her concept group.
In 2006, Gloria accepted the invitation of the Hong Kong Arts Festival to represent Hong Kong at the 34th Hong Kong Arts Festival "Singing and Writing - Asian Independent Singer-Songwriters Concert"; in May of the same year, she performed with music As the leader of the group, he is the host of the special program "Art Tribe" of Radio Television Hong Kong. In 2007, Gloria continued to travel between Live Shows and Live Shows. In August, she and her friend and singer-songwriter aniDa completed three "Not Stupid Two Kids" concerts at the Art Center. In 2008, she was a guest on RTHK's special program "4-Dimensional Busking". In February, she was invited by the Singapore Chinese Arts Festival to complete two concerts with her friend aniDa at the Singapore Esplanade. In July Gloria and aniDa were invited by the Taiwan Ocean Music Festival to perform in Fulong, Taiwan. In August, the two released their first collaborative new album "Home Buddiesgt" in Taiwan. In September, they also officially launched their new album "Home Buddiesgt" in Hong Kong. In 2009, the two released a new album "Travel Buddies".
As an independent musician, Gloria has performed harmony vocals for many advertisements and concerts. She has also worked for independent films such as lt;信GT; ;Waiting for the soundtrack. She completed Hong Kong's first Master of Arts in Perspective Arts program and is determined to pursue artistic development. In response to the concept of free music, she is currently a tutor at the M.I.F.F. School (Music is Free Foundation) and also serves as a tutor at the Hong Kong Children's Heart Foundation, teaching music to the foundation choir. Gloria's life is not only about work and music, "I am very greedy. When I have free time, I will take pictures, run, paint oil paintings, and enjoy drinking tea and playing mahjong with my family!" She confessed like this.
