1. China Conservatory of Music.
The China Conservatory of Music is located in Beijing. It is based on Chinese studies and has unique characteristics of Chinese music education and research. It cultivates senior professionals engaged in Chinese music theory research, creation, performance and education. A higher music institution for talented people; guided by the educational philosophy of "inheriting Chinese learning, promoting Chinese rhyme, educating Chinese instruments, and strengthening Chinese music", it is known as the "cradle of Chinese musicians" and "the palace of Chinese music".
The school was founded in 1964 based on the proposal of Premier Zhou Enlai. In 1973, the China Conservatory of Music and the Central Conservatory of Music merged to form the School of Music of the Central Wuqi University of the Arts. In May 1980, the China Conservatory of Music resumed its organizational structure.
As of March 2017, the school covers a total area of ??60.27 acres, with 1,983 undergraduate students, 700 graduate students (PhDs and Masters), and 385 faculty and staff. The school was originally the National Conservatory of Music established in Qingmuguan, Chongqing in 1940 and demobilized in Nanjing after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. In 1949, it was established in Tianjin by the National Conservatory of Music (including kindergarten classes), the Northeastern Lu Xun Literature and Art School Music Ensemble, the Music Department of North China University Literature and Art School, the Music Department of the National Peking Art College, and the China Conservatory of Music in Shanghai and Hong Kong. It was formed through a merger of music education institutions and was officially given its current name at the end of the same year. An inauguration ceremony was held in the early summer of 1950.
In 1952, the Department of Music of Yenching University was merged into the national adjustment of colleges and universities. In 1958, it moved from Tianjin to its current location in Beijing.

Tianjin Conservatory Of Music is located in Tianjin, China. The predecessor of the college is the Central Conservatory of Music founded in Tianjin in 1950. After more than half a century of construction, it has developed into an important higher art education institution in the northern region that cultivates talents in music, dance, drama, film and television. The college is among the first batch of master's degree-granting units approved by the State Council.
