Electronic keyboards are divided into 4 types, namely:
1. Toy-type electronic keyboards are generally pocket-sized or portable and use small keyboards. It is small in size, light in weight, easy to carry, has a narrow sound range, few analog sounds, and is cheap. It is mainly used for children's entertainment or to cultivate their interest in music, and can also be used for adults' general entertainment.
2. Teaching electronic keyboard, which uses a medium-sized keyboard or a standard keyboard, is mainly used for music teaching, cultivating students' ability to control the keyboard, mastering music knowledge such as chords, and accompaniment for music classes.
3. The home-type electronic keyboard is lightweight in shape and elegant in color, suitable for indoor decoration. The structure can be divided into portable or floor-standing. It has one or two layers of standard keyboards and several to dozens of analog sounds. Generally, there is an automatic accompaniment system with an amplifier and speakers installed in the machine.
4. Stage performance electronic keyboard, consisting of hand keyboard, foot keyboard, shell and speakers, is mainly used by professional performers for solo or accompaniment. Generally, there are three sets of keyboards. The upper keyboard plays the main melody, and the lower keyboard plays the main melody. Play the harmony, and play the bass part on the keyboard. The sound is pure and beautiful, the sound is delicate, the simulation is realistic, and the changes are rich. There are generally more than 20 types of analog timbres, and the range generally exceeds four octaves.
