The Health Song is included in the album The Magic Book of the Little Witch. At the Spring Festival Gala in 1998, Mavis Fan, Jie Xiaodong, MCA, etc. reinterpreted the Spring Festival Gala version of health songs, and national health exercises were popular for a while.

The original song is "The Purple People Eater" released by American singer ShebWooley in 1958. The lyrics and composition of the original song were all completed by Sheb Wooley. Some domestic publications indicate that the composer of Health Song is Tetsuro Oda, but in fact Tetsuro Oda is not the author of this song.
