The School of Music began recruiting students in 1993 and currently offers three undergraduate majors: musicology, music performance, and dance. There are 56 faculty members, including 2 full professors, 15 associate professors, 4 PhDs and 19 masters. There are five teaching and research departments including piano, vocal music, dance, theory and instrumental music. There are nearly 700 students on campus, and there is a college student art troupe, including choir, dance group, wind band, folk band, pop band, etc. Teachers and students have participated in many national, provincial and municipal competitions and achieved excellent results. The music school has complete teaching facilities. The music building is equipped with a concert hall, dance room, piano technique laboratory, MIDI laboratory, multimedia classroom and piano room for teachers and students. There are also independent teaching areas and office areas. 1The Department of Music has three teaching and research sections: music theory, vocal music, and keyboard. Offering an undergraduate major in music education, the department has advanced teaching equipment, outstanding teaching results, and fruitful scientific research results. Famous experts and scholars at home and abroad are often invited to give lectures in the department.
