Album Introduction

All the songs in Adele’s first album 19 were composed by herself and were managed by three gold medal producers : Jim Abbiss, Eg White and Mark Ronson. Some of my favorite songs happen to be all composed by Jim Abbiss: although the arrangement is simple, it can grasp Adele's charm from multiple angles.

Both Daydreamer and Crazy For You have a guitar running through them all. The former has a tranquil atmosphere, while the latter is out of body. Adele's sustain moves and trembles in time and space, glowing with the luster of the strings. Best For Last uses a dark background, and the bass subtly brings out Adele's matte texture. First Love set up a music box with a celesta, and the human voice lingered in it. As for the Aye Aye sequence at the beginning of My Same, it's like a little wild cat scratching my heart with one claw after another. There are also two piano ballads, Make You Feel My Love, which is like Elton John's arrangement of Bob Dylan, and Hometone Glory, which is the London sound of Adele's first attempt at singing. The two songs exude a vague warmth in the morning and evening.

Let’s take a look at what the other two have done: Cold Shoulder produced by Mark Ronson is still the same, and can seamlessly connect with Amy Winehouse’s You Know I’m No Good and Tears Dry On Their Own; The hit single Chasing Pavements produced by Eg White is actually just a copy of James Morrison's You Give Me Something. When it comes to Melt My Heart To Stone, it's almost like Melt Adele into Joss Stone... Obviously, the producer is too arrogant. Sheng, the limelight overshadowed Adele.

However, overall, this 19 is still a well-produced and unique debut, especially the several sketches mentioned above, which laid the foundation for the entire album. The general base of sugar-free Coke: deep color and refreshing taste.

"21" is the second studio album of British recording singer Adele. The album's title refers to Adele's age when the album was made. The album was released on January 24, 2011 in the UK and most of Europe, and on February 24 of the same year in the United States. "21" is also influenced by folk music and Motown records like Adele's first album, "19", but "21" is more influenced by her North American concert tour from 2008 to 2009 than "19". Influenced by elements of American country music and southern blues music. The album's songs are similar to Adele's more serious style and explore themes of anger, revenge, heartbreak, self-reflection and forgiveness.

After Adele's first concert tour was completed, she began writing the songs that would be included in her second album as early as April 2009. At the time of her success, Adele was still in the midst of a relationship that would later influence the making of this album. Since Adele is not satisfied with the "tragedy writer" image she established in the music industry with her first album, she hopes that her new album will give people an optimistic and unconventional feeling. However, due to her lack of inspiration, the recording part was cut in half. When the relationship that inspired her ended, Adele immediately started working on the album again, channeling feelings of depression and heartbreak into the songs she wrote.

Although early reports stated that the album was only produced by Columbia Records co-president Rick Rubin, it was later announced that Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder and Dan Wilson were all on the list. Later, the album was well received. Critics believed that the album was old-fashioned and full of authenticity, lyrical and full of depth, and Adele's own singing voice was considered to have made artistic progress compared with the previous work "19".

After the album's first single "Rolling in the Deep" was released, "21" topped the British album chart. Adele performed her second single, "Someone Like You" at the BRIT Awards, which was highly praised and led to the album topping the UK Albums Chart for 21 weeks. This album not only topped the Billboard album chart in the United States, but also ranked first on the album charts in 27 countries. 21 has also set many local and world records since its release, and even appeared in the Guinness World Records in 2011. It has stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart for 22 weeks, on the Australian ARIA album chart for 29 weeks, and has set historical records on the charts in New Zealand and Ireland, with records of 32 weeks and 34 weeks respectively. As of March 2012, more than 21 million certifications have been shipped worldwide. On February 12, 2012, U.S. time, at the Grammy Awards, "21" and its single won 6 awards, including Single of the Year, Recording of the Year and Best Short MV for "Rolling in the Deep" , Best Pop Vocal Performance for "Someone Like You", as well as Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year for the album itself.
