On the other side of the mountain and on the other side of the sea
There is a group of Smurfs
They are lively and smart
They are naughty and sensitive
They live there freely
The big green forest
They are kind and brave and care about each other
The cute Smurfs
The cute Smurfs
They worked together and used their brains
to defeat Gargamel
They Sing and dance and be happy
On the other side of the mountain and the sea
There is a group of Smurfs
They are lively and smart
They are naughty and sensitive
They live freely there
The big green forest
They are kind and brave and care about each other
Ou Cute Smurfs
O Cute Smurfs
They worked together and used their brains
Fighted Gargamel
They sang and danced Happiness is more joy
Creative background
In 1983, Guangdong TV introduced the cartoon "The Smurfs", following the popular practice in Hong Kong at the time, and giving foreign cartoons a local theme Song. Guangdong TV specially invited the Soldier Song and Dance Troupe of the Political Department of the Guangzhou Military Region to compose this theme song. Qu Cong, then the regiment leader, and Zheng Qiufeng, the then deputy regiment leader, worked together. Qu Cong thought that the cartoon was made by Japanese, so he wrote a very Japanese lyrics, while Zheng Qiufeng composed a song with a strong Japanese style. After submitting the manuscript, they realized they had made a mistake. It only took them half a day to write another song, and they had "The Smurf Song."
In 1985, the song won the Silver Medal in the First National Children's Song Competition. In August 1986, the song won the Guangdong Provincial Children's Song Award for Excellence. In October 1986, the song won the Music Award of the Second Lu Xun Literature and Art Award.
