The original singers of "Intimate Lover" are Fu Disheng and Ren Jing.

Fu Disheng was born on May 14, 1966 in Qian'an City, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. He and his wife Ren Jing are both singers. In 1977, he was admitted to the student class of the Beijing Central Orchestra (the predecessor of the China Symphony Orchestra). In 1983, he served as a soloist in the China Light Music Ensemble. Published his first solo album in 1985: In 1988, he won the Outstanding Singer Award at the CCTV National Young Singer Grand Prix.

Ren Jing, born in Beijing on June 8, 1968, is a singer. In 1984, he joined the China Railway Art Troupe. In 1987, he published his first solo album "Miss Fans". In 1990, he participated in the CCTV National Young Singer Grand Prix and won the Outstanding Singer Award. In 1997, Ren Jing and Fu Disheng sang the duet song "Intimate Lover" and won the gold medal in the popular genre at the 1999 CCTV Fifth Music Television Competition.
