Yao Beina (September 26, 1981 - January 16, 2015), born in Wuhan, Hubei Province, is a female pop singer in Mainland China and graduated from the Vocal Department of the China Conservatory of Music. In 2005, she officially entered the entertainment industry by playing the heroine Jin in the musical "Sands".

In 2006, he participated in the "12th CCTV Young Singer TV Grand Prix" and won the runner-up in popular singing. In 2008, he won the popular singing championship at the "13th CCTV Young Singer TV Grand Prix"; in 2008, he won the Mainland's Most Potential Singer Award at the "9th CCTV-MTV Music Festival".

Early life experience:

Yao Beina began to learn piano at the age of 4 and sang on stage for the first time at the age of 9. Under the careful cultivation of her parents, she gradually developed a strong interest in music. During his childhood, he participated in the recording and live singing of many songs, and won many awards in national, provincial, and prefecture-level singing competitions.

In September 1997, he was admitted to the High School Affiliated to Wuhan Conservatory of Music, where he studied vocal music systematically under his father Yao Feng. While in school, he won the "8th Dahongying Cup National Young Singer Television Grand Prix" Second place in popular singing in the professional group of Hubei Division and National Finals Screen Award. In 1998, he studied national vocal music under Feng Jiahui.
