1. Create situations to stimulate children's participation

Mr. Chen Heqin pointed out in "Talk about Children's Painting": "Children's motivation for painting is stimulated by external things." Therefore, the creation of activity situations has a great attraction for children to actively participate in painting activities, thus turning attraction into love. Children in small classes have weak hands-on skills and often shrink back when encountering some difficulties and are unwilling to participate in activities. At this time, situational teaching can give full play to its advantages and allow children to enter painting unconsciously. "Drawing a Fence" is an activity I designed for a small class to "draw a straight line" in the first semester. The activity started with teachers and children playing the roles of mother chicken and baby chicken. They played a happy game of finding food. Suddenly they were attacked by a fox, and the mother chicken fought hard to protect it. chick. Later, Mother Chicken suggested that we draw a "fence" around our house so that foxes would not come in. In the beautiful music, the children started the "work" of "defending their homeland" with various colored chalks. The fox appeared again. It walked around the "fence wall" and said, "I want to find a place with a big gap to get in." In fact, this is a test of the child's painting effect, and then the "fence wall" is supplemented, so that the child can master the essentials of drawing straight lines. Finally, the fox was angry and ran away, and the baby chicken started playing happily again. Through this activity, children can learn how to draw straight lines unconsciously. It also reduces the pressure on children to operate on drawing paper and has achieved good teaching results.

2. The story runs through and improves painting skills

We often say that interest is the best teacher for children. Only by grasping the best points of interest in teaching can we get twice the result with half the effort. In art teaching activities, I combine children's favorite stories with teaching content, and let children master some basic methods and skills of painting through stories. Cotton swab painting is a favorite painting method for children. How to make the monotonous cotton swab painting unique? The "Drawing Falling Leaves" I designed for primary school children uses stories to complete cotton swab drawings. 3. Role-playing games, enriching creative imagination

No matter whether it is a large class, a middle class or a small class, games have always been children’s favorite, but for children in the big class, role-playing games It’s more beneficial and suitable for them. In the "Drawing a House" activity for children in the upper class, I used the forest as the artistic conception of the activity and asked the children to play various small animals. They are living a happy life. But a sudden heavy rain washed away all their houses. What should they do? Ask the children to design a house suitable for their characters to live in. This activity is very effective. The children also talked about many features and special uses of the house they designed, which was really unexpected.

4. Different materials stimulate the desire to learn

Through a variety of different painting tools, special materials and expression techniques, children's interest in painting can be stimulated. Such as blowing and painting activities, it is very suitable for children in middle and large classes. First choose a piece of glossy paper or calendar paper, which is not too absorbent. Then dip the mixed colors with a brush and drop them onto the paper and blow them with your mouth. There are many other methods suitable for children in small classes, such as stamping paintings. Dip the building blocks, cut cucumbers, green peppers, lotus roots, green vegetable roots, etc. into the color of the paste and stamp them on the paper to form blossoming flowers. 5. The language of children’s drawings makes the activity full of childlike interest
