Introduction to Zeng Ming

Zeng Ming was born in Jiangsu in 1962. National first-class performer (flute and flute player). He has won the Excellence Award in the Beijing International Chinese National Instrumental Music Solo Competition; the Gold Medal at the Seoul World Pirj Arts Festival; and the first place in the Gold Medal at the Jiangsu Jasmine Cup National Instrumental Music Solo Competition. Published CDs "Zeng Ming's Chinese Flute and Flute Album—Shenzhou Flute Rhythm" and "Wandering Clouds and Flowing Water". He served as the principal flute for Kunqu opera masterpieces such as "Return of the Soul", "White Luo Shirt", "The Peach Blossom Fan", and "The Injustice of Dou E". He is currently a member of the Chinese Musicians Association, the Chinese Ethnic Wind Music Research Association, the Chinese Ethnic Instrumental Music Society, and the Chinese Ethnic Orchestra Association.
