Music, as an art course that cultivates the soul and awakens inspiration, has not received sufficient attention in secondary vocational schools. On the one hand, it is the lack of attention from the school, and on the other hand, it is the lack of attention from the students themselves. The lack of attention from both parties has resulted in the embarrassing situation that music classes are dispensable and difficult to carry out effectively in secondary vocational schools. This paper discusses the methods of effectively carrying out music teaching in secondary vocational schools: creating a pleasant music atmosphere; paying attention to music teaching methods; mastering scientific vocal skills.
