Radsky March, orchestral music, Johann Strauss I's most famous masterpiece, is often regarded as the last piece of popular orchestral concerts. Every year, the famous Vienna New Year Concert always ends with this song, which has become a tradition. But this song has a little-known background. This piece of music was originally dedicated by Johann Strauss I to General Radeski, but in essence, Radeski was an iron-fisted man who brutally suppressed the people's uprising in neighboring countries and was a reactionary warlord. Later, even Strauss himself and his son Johann Strauss II did not want to perform this March again. Nevertheless, Radsky's March has conquered the audience with its popular melody and powerful rhythm, and has become the most widely circulated March. A common version is an arrangement for a wind band.
