What are the stages of Beethoven's creation?

1. The early period of Vienna was from 1794 to 1802. During this period he wrote 13 piano sonatas. The most representative "heroic nature" of Beethoven's musical style has been initially reflected in these works. "Pathété", which was born during this period, is an expression of his painful heart when he was threatened by deafness.

2. The mature period is 1803-1814. During this period he published 14 more sonatas. These works are one of the important signs that Beethoven broke away from the tradition of the 18th century and became piano works that entered his innovative stage. From "The Tempest" we can see that Beethoven used the most ordinary materials and the simplest musical language to express his richest emotions and most profound thoughts.

3. The late period of creation was from 1814 to 1827. During this period, Beethoven composed his last five piano sonatas, which are the embodiment of Beethoven's late style. The piano sonatas of this period are no longer as emotionally intense and full of contradictions as the early and middle works, but instead give people extraordinary tranquility and spiritual sublimation. From 1824 to 1825, the "Ninth Symphony" and its chorus were premiered; in March 1825, the "Missa Solemnis" was completed.

Beethoven created a wide range of themes throughout his life, and his important works include 9 symphonies, 1 opera, 32 piano sonatas, 5 piano concertos, multiple orchestral overtures, and violin and cello sonatas.
