Lu Xun is a famous Chinese writer. He has written many works, the most famous of which is "The True Story of Ah Q". Lu Xun has many interesting stories, one of which is this:
One day, Lu Xun went to the barber shop to get a haircut wearing shabby clothes. The barber saw that he was dressed casually and looked dirty, and thought he looked like a beggar, so he cut his hair casually. After getting a haircut, Lu Xun randomly grabbed a handful of money from his pocket and handed it to the barber, and left without looking back. The barber counted carefully and found that he had paid a lot more money, and he was so happy.
More than a month later, Lu Xun came for a haircut again. The barber recognized him as the customer who paid more money last time, so he was very polite to him, gave him a haircut very carefully, and kept asking him for his opinion until Lu Xun was satisfied. Unexpectedly, when paying, Lu Xun counted the money very seriously and did not give more than one copper. The barber thought it was strange and asked him why. Lu Xun smiled and said: "Sir, last time you cut my hair casually, so I paid you casually. This time you cut my hair seriously, so I paid you seriously!" < /p>
The barber felt very ashamed after hearing this and quickly apologized to Lu Xun.

At that age when he was studying at Sanwei Bookstore, Lu Xun also followed his mother to stay at his grandmother's house in the countryside. Lu Xun's grandmother's house was in the countryside of Shaoxing, called Anqiao Village. This village is not far from the sea and is extremely remote. A small river flows through the village, dividing the village into north and south halves. At that time, there were about thirty households in the village, most of them surnamed Lu. Most of them made a living by farming and fishing. A small number of people engaged in side business-making wine and opened a very small shop. Lu Xun went with his mother after sweeping the grave in the spring. It was here that Lu Xun saw many newer scenery and ways of playing, and saw and heard "social opera". Lucky for Lu Xun to have such a novel and vast world.
Because Lu Xun came from the city and was considered a distant and distinguished guest, many children in the village got permission from their parents to reduce their daily labor and play with Brother Xun as much as they wanted. The ways of playing are very interesting, such as digging for earthworms and fishing for shrimps by the river, or going to herd cattle together, but the biggest pleasure is watching a social opera. Once, they went to watch a play in Zhaozhuang, a neighboring village. Lu Xun later recalled this: "As soon as they went out, they saw a white-covered ship moored in Pingqiao under the moon. Everyone jumped out of the ship and took a dip. The younger ones sat with me in the cabin, and the older ones gathered at the stern. By the time my mother came out and said, "Be careful," we had already started the boat, knocked on the bridge stone, and backed away. After a few feet, he stepped forward and got out of the bridge again, so he set up two oars, one for each person, one for each mile, some were joking, some were shouting, and the sound of gurgling water from the bow was heard on both sides. In the green river of beans and wheat fields, the fragrance emanating from the beans and wheat on both sides and the water plants at the bottom of the river is mixed with the water vapor and blows towards the face; the moonlight is dim in the water vapor. Inside. The dark undulating mountains seemed to be running away to the stern of the ship like the backs of eager iron beasts, but I still thought the ship was moving slowly, and I gradually saw them dimly. I was in Zhaozhuang, and I seemed to hear a song playing, and there were a few fires. I thought it was the stage, but maybe it was a fishing fire. The fire was approaching, and it turned out to be a fishing fire;...it was a pine forest opposite the bow of the ship. After passing the forest, the boat turned into Chagang, and Zhaozhuang was really in front of us. The most eye-catching thing was a stage standing in the open space facing the river outside the village, blurred in the moonlit night in the distance, almost separate from the space. Without going out of bounds, I suspected that the fairyland I had seen in the painting appeared here..."
When Lu Xun was 13 years old, his grandfather was imprisoned, so he and his younger brother were placed in Yousan City. He took refuge in his uncle's home in Huangfuzhuang, more than ten miles away.
When Lu Xun came to his uncle's house this time, the situation was completely different from before, and he would inevitably suffer some indifference from then on. However, workers and their children are the same everywhere. They are still so warm and attentive, coming to receive the little guests who have come from afar to take refuge. The spring in the countryside is still beautiful. Mud boats are parked all over the river. On both sides of the river are green wheat fields, and green mangosteen grows on the ridges of the fields. During the day, the adults went to work in the rivers and fields, and Lu Xun played with the children, fishing or peeling monk peas. The main sideline business of farmers in Huangfuzhuang and Xiaogaobu is fishing. Late at night, the fish all swim out, eating, swimming, and fishing people are also out at this time. After the second update, the shrimps also started to come out.
The shrimp catchers rowed small boats and carried sea bags to catch shrimps. After dawn, they ate some cold rice balls and went to the town to sell fish and shrimp. After selling the fish and shrimp, they came back to sleep. Whenever they have a little free time, they don't take a break. Instead, they plan to act and show off their outstanding skills during the performance.
In the rural areas of Shaoxing at that time, there were countless days of acting. The ninth and tenth days of the first lunar month are "Lamp Head Opera"; in March, there is the birthday of "Emperor Dongyue", and there will be a performance on the 28th at the latest; on May 16th, "The Birthday of the Lord (Land) Bodhisattva", On June 17th, "Grandpa Bao's birthday", there will be a play. July 16 was the birthday of "General Liu Meng". The farmers said that he was "Liu Bei's son" because he fell to death while catching shrimps in the fields, and he had to act. In August, September, and until the end of the year, there will be many performances. Acting seems to be inseparable from their lives. In fact, the purpose of their acting is not just to show the Bodhisattvas, but to express their wishes: safety of the population and livestock, abundant harvests, and a peaceful life of living and working in peace and contentment; - although the real life is not as good as theirs As expected. Peasants always show their talents, wisdom and strength in the festival of carnival and demonstration, which is their own festival. The queues stretched for several miles, and the crowds were like a rolling wave, sweeping through one village after another. Red, green, yellow, and flags of various colors were fluttering above the team. In this mighty team, everyone is like a lively tiger: some are playing lions, some are playing dragon boats, some are walking on stilts, some are lifting the latch, some are beating gongs and drums, and some are carrying Lotus gun, boom, boom, shoot it against the sky a few times.
The most spectacular and brilliant one is the Mulian Opera. Perhaps this is a way to commemorate those heroic spirits who were once called "traitors" by the feudal ruling class in history, as well as the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the armed revolutionary struggle of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in modern times, as well as other untimely deaths. In Huangfu Village, the stage is set up in a place called the "Fire Burning Field" in the village. This is said to be the slaughterhouse where the reactionary landlord class massacred peasants after the failure of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom peasant uprising. This play started in the afternoon of the first day and lasted until dawn the next day. The "Lament of Sorrow" is held when the sun sets. A solemn trumpet is blown on the stage. In the dusk, a dozen horses are placed under the stage. An actor pretends to be the ghost king, holding a steel fork. In addition, there are There are more than a dozen ghost soldiers, and ordinary children can apply. They climbed up on the stage, explained their wishes, painted a few strokes of color on their faces, and held steel forks in their hands. When everyone gathered, they got on their horses and galloped to the ownerless graves in the wild. Then they galloped back with their forks and went to the front desk. They yelled together, threw the steel fork, and nailed it to the table. Then the responsibility was completed, and they washed their faces and stepped off the stage. Holding this kind of ceremony means that those lonely ghosts have followed the ghost king and ghost soldiers to watch the show together. After the "Lament of Sorrows" ceremony is carried out, the play begins and proceeds slowly. As soon as it was time to "jump", people immediately became nervous. A melancholy trumpet sounded on the stage, and a ball of cloth was placed on the central beam. The spectators all held their breath, and suddenly a man appeared on the stage without any clothes or pants, only a pair of nose crotch, and a few strokes of pink on his face. This is called "male hanging". As soon as he appeared on the stage, he ran straight to the hanging cloth, like a spider clinging to the thread, and also seemed to be spinning a web, drilling and hanging on it. After this, it's "Dancing Women's Hanging". The melancholy trumpet was blown again on the stage, and after a while, the curtain was lifted, and Nv Diao, a ghost more beautiful and stronger than all other ghosts, appeared. Wearing a bright red shirt, a long black vest, long fluffy hair, and two paper spindles hanging around his neck, he bowed his head, lowered his hands, and meandered across the stage. Experts said that this was walking with the word "heart" in mind. Then, she shook her hair back, and people could see her face clearly: a round face as white as lime, thick black eyebrows, dark eye sockets, and scarlet lips. She slightly shrugged her shoulders, looked around, and listened, feeling surprised, happy, or angry. Finally, she made a sad voice and sang slowly, "I am the daughter of the Yang family. Haha, it's bitter, my God!... " What follows is that she was abused as a child bride and finally committed suicide by throwing herself into a ring. After singing, I heard crying in the distance. It was also a woman, weeping with injustice and preparing to commit suicide. She was so surprised that she wanted to "ask for a replacement", but the "male guy" kept popping up and argued that he should be the one to ask for a replacement. The arguments turned into violence. Of course, the "female guy" couldn't compete with him. Fortunately, there was another god on the stage. ——Wang Lingguan appeared at this moment, beat the "male hanging" away with a whip, and let the "female hanging" go about her activities alone. This scene is the most profound in Lu Xun's memory, and there are certainly many other scenes.
From his childhood until later, he had a particularly deep memory. Lu Xun believed that this most vindictive "nvdiao", this most beautiful and strongest soul, is the embodiment of the oppressed's will for revenge.
The natural scenery of the countryside, the life of "wild children" such as Runtu, as well as folk literature and drawing books aroused Lu Xun's great interest and hobbies. These interests and hobbies seemed to be parallel. , are actually related to each other, and they all affect his life and character. They will develop day by day in the future, and they will all serve his great ideal. In the future, he will engage in literature, express rural poverty, deeply expose social contradictions, study Han paintings and statues, and advocate woodcuts, which are all related to this. As for the critical eye, it also began to sprout in childhood. The just, strong, and persevering spirit he acquired from his family was developed when he later fought against adversity. The period of Lu Xun's childhood life described above can be said to be relatively happy in Lu Xun's life. This often makes him feel a sense of beauty and a yearning mood when he recalls it in the future, and he often gets creative inspiration from this.
