In 1998, Wang Yi, a graduate, was admitted to western michigan university, USA, majoring in piano with full scholarship, and studied for a master's degree.

Gong Jie, a graduate in p>1999, was admitted to the National University of Japan with outstanding achievements, and is now studying for a doctorate.

Cai Yuan, a graduate in p>23, held the first solo piano concert for third-year undergraduate students in our college during her undergraduate study, which was well received by Mr. Zhou Guangren, Dean Yang Tongba and Secretary Ning Xianhua at that time, and the performance was a complete success. Cai Yuan was officially hired by the Central Opera and Dance Theatre in July 23, and became a professional piano soloist and accompanist. Since her work, she has participated in various performances at home and abroad for many times, and has been well received.

Bataan and Sun Ying, graduates in p>24, were also admitted to the graduate school of our college with excellent results. Among them, Bataan was admitted to the piano department and studied under Professor Li Min.

In May 25, two students, Qu Yuan and Li Qingzi, participated in the 25 Oriental New Junior Piano and Keyboard Musical Instrument Grand Prix jointly organized by the Chinese-foreign Cultural Exchange Center of the Ministry of Culture and the Central Conservatory of Music, and won silver and bronze prizes respectively.

The judges of this competition are Professor Jan kadlubisk, Director of Piano Department of Chopin Conservatory of Music, Professor Douglas Humpherys, President of Hysmans International Piano Competition (Director of Piano Department of Hysmans Conservatory of Music, USA), James.wintle, Director of Piano Department of Southeast Oklahoma State University, Mr. Liu Shikun, Judge of China, a famous pianist, and Professor Yang Jun, Director of Piano Department of Central Conservatory of Music. This shows the authority of this contest.

Among them, Qu Yuan took the piano accompaniment major of the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music in the postgraduate exam on June 1th, 26, and successfully passed the professional course exam. At the same time, in this competition, under the guidance of Yang Shuang, students Yang Xueqin, Wu Yajing and Li Jing also won two gold medals and one silver prize respectively.
