The application requirements for graduate students at Xi'an Conservatory of Music are as follows:
Wind Music
1. Main subject

When registering, you must submit a CD or DVD of your own performance (exempt for orchestral students of our college). The content is the same as the exam track.
During the exam, the examiner will perform part or all of the repertoire designated by the examiner. Works with a piano part must have piano performance (piano accompaniment is provided).
Main subject examination content:

Percussion

During the exam, the examiner will perform part or all of the repertoire designated by the examiner. Works with piano parts must have piano playing (piano accompaniment is provided).
Main subject examination content:
The examination repertoire is divided into four items, and each candidate must choose any three of them:
(1) Snare drum
p>Dreklius snare etudes, there are twelve etudes in the book, and candidates can choose the first or twelfth one among them.
(2) Timpani, choose one of the following two:
①Carter: "Eight Timpani Solos", choose one of them;

The examination content includes:
Six works: including one large-scale piece, three traditional pieces, and two modern compositions. During the examination, the examiner will perform part or all of the repertoire designated by the examiner.
When registering, candidates should submit a written material detailing the professional learning process (indicate the school, teacher and study time).
Vocal Music

4. Piano (graduates of our college can apply for exemption from the exam, regardless of grades)
When registering, you must submit a CD of your own singing (exempt for fresh students of the Vocal Department of our college) (tapes and tapes are not included) MD, DVD), the content (same as the examination repertoire) includes: singing six works. These include two Chinese works and four foreign works (the original text must be sung and must include three or more different languages). Foreign works must contain two arias (one of which must be from the 17th or 18th century) and one art song. One other song is optional (foreign folk songs and pop songs are not allowed). During the exam, some or all of the repertoire will be sung as designated by the examiner. Take care of your own accompaniment.

Music Acoustics

When registering, you must submit a paper (university graduation thesis or equivalent) or a musical work written by yourself in the major research direction you apply for. department. Fresh undergraduate graduates can replace their dissertation with an assignment (term paper).
Electronic organ

A CD of your own performance must be submitted when registering. The content (same as the examination repertoire) includes:
① Perform an adapted symphony (including concertos and large-scale works for electronic organ,
Classical Baroque, Romantic, Modern Both are acceptable);
② One large-scale polyphonic piece;
③ One piece of music composed by yourself (the time is more than 5 minutes, and the score needs to be submitted).
Notes: ① Candidates will not be notified in advance if motives or tone sequences are used in improvisation, and there will be 20 minutes of audition and preparation time before the exam. ②Except for pencils, no other items are allowed into the examination room.
Accordion
1. Main subject
(1) Candidates provide 3 "Preludes and Fugues" from Bach's Twelve Equal Temperaments (optional from Volume 1 or 2) that they have studied, and the examiner will assign one of them to be played;
(2) Candidates must provide three of Scarlatti’s sonatas they have studied (optional), and the examiner will assign one of them to be played;
(3) Technical music such as Kata or concert etude (original or adapted);
(4) One original multi-movement accordion work;

Note: Applicants for this major must have certain clinical experience in otolaryngology, medical school graduates who like singing, or music conservatories who like voice research, and have certain singing performance experience or vocal music teaching experience. School graduates.
Guitar
1. Main subject (classical guitar performance)
(1) Scales and arpeggios;
(2) Choose one of Bach’s lute suites or violin suites;

Notes:
(1) When registering, you must submit complete and detailed performance repertoire, performance time and a video CD of your performance, which must include all examination content ( Students majoring in classical guitar in our college are exempted);

Piano examination requirements for various directions
1. Bach's four-part Prelude and Fugue ("Well-Tempered Clavier"). Just play the fugue, but you can also read the music score. The command direction must be memorized.
2. A sonata allegro movement (Beethoven's "Tempest" sonata and above). Music must be memorized.
3. Chopin etudes (conductor direction only).
Note: 1. Requirements for piano exams in the history of Chinese music, Chinese traditional music, Chinese ethnic minority music, history of Chinese music aesthetics, and world ethnic music: The level of polyphonic music can be equivalent to Bach's three creative works music; the Allegro movement of the Sonata can be equivalent to Beethoven's First and Fifth Sonata (Allegro movement) and above.
2. Requirements for applying for the vocal piano exam: ① One large or medium-sized piece of music; ② One small-sized piece of music (can be replaced by a piece of vocal accompaniment). Music must be memorized.
3. All graduates of our college’s general undergraduate program (excluding adult education undergraduates) apply for the original direction of study, or apply for a new direction, but the piano level required by the original direction of study is not lower than that of the new direction. Those who are eligible can apply for exemption from the exam, and their scores will not be counted.
Additional examination
