Speech for running for the Propaganda Department of the Student Union
Dear teachers, fellow student union leaders, and students from the School of Chemical Engineering present:
Good afternoon everyone! My name is xxx, and today I want to run for the holy position of director of the Propaganda Department of the Student Union!
I would like to briefly introduce the things that happened between me and the Propaganda Department! I have been in the Propaganda Department for nearly two years. It is not easy to go from entering the school as a young person to standing here calmly and calmly facing all of you here with the mentality of a revolutionary! The Propaganda Department is the only department in my university that I have joined, so I have been holding on tenaciously! It’s not because I’m afraid of having nothing to do after losing it, but because I’m afraid that I’m indeed missing an inner spiritual sustenance! I like the feeling of making posters, always completing my own inspiration and conveying information to others. When I was a freshman, a group of familiar work partners gradually formed a tacit understanding. With a hint in the eyes and a short conversation, I could understand what kind of inspiration the other party had for the poster, and we hit it off immediately! Now if I think about it for a moment, I happily yearn for that feeling. I think this is cooperation! In my sophomore year, the number of members in the Propaganda Department has dropped sharply to three, Huimin, Yujie and me. But there is a group of lovely and energetic successors, and I am even more happy! We held lectures, held regular meetings, made posters, held orientation and sports games, and we started a new journey. As long as it is the work of the Propaganda Department, it can always mobilize all the cells in my body. Talk about your feelings? It is this kind of love that makes me determined to continue to stay in the Propaganda Department. I think this is passion! At work, as long as you have the spirit of cooperation, you can experience the greatest happiness; as long as you have enthusiasm, you can maximize your subjective initiative! I think I'd be a good fit in the publicity department.
Let’s talk about my understanding of the Propaganda Department. Officially speaking, the Propaganda Department is the hub between various departments, delivering an organization's information in a timely manner and doing its job well in publicity work. In the past two years, I have felt that the Propaganda Department actually uses the activities of other departments as a carrier to develop and display its own culture and characteristics in the process of making posters. The Propaganda Department is by no means an auxiliary department. It is a department that takes itself as its main body and its own creative inspiration as its core. The production of each poster is an act to realize its own ideas. I want to say to my team members: Every poster is made by myself and belongs to you! As long as you put your heart into it, you can do it well; as long as you love it, it will be perfect!
If I am elected as the Minister of Propaganda Department, I will build the Propaganda Department from two words. The first word is quality. Because the main job of our Propaganda Department is to produce posters, and each poster determines the spiritual outlook of the entire college to a certain extent. To improve the quality of a poster, we mainly start with the professional skills of the members. We can hold lectures to broaden the basic skills of poster making for new members; we can encourage members to learn their expertise through regular meeting presentations; we can accumulate experience for the next poster through poster summaries. The second word is cooperation. Collaboration is vital to a department. Construction can be based on the following details: 1. Work arrangement. I will make the work as detailed and specific as possible so that each member can clarify his or her responsibilities and cultivate their cooperation ability in the connection process of various tasks. 2. Organize more small activities in regular meetings to subtly increase the tacit understanding among members. 3. Go out and play regularly. Going out once can best increase their cohesion. I will do my duty and do every job well. In life, you need to hone yourself in a position that suits you, so let me lose sleep a few more times for the Propaganda Department! I will feel doubly happy! I have written this speech in a way that I like the Propaganda Department. I hope everyone will vote for me!
Give you a reason to choose me!
