when the forest runs out of water, you get a mountain, and the mountain has a small mouth, as if there were light. Leave the boat and enter from the mouth. Only when you are very narrow at first can you understand people. After a few steps, you will be suddenly enlightened. The land is flat and spacious, and the houses are just like it. It is a genus of beautiful pond, mulberry and bamboo. Traffic in buildings, chickens and dogs hear each other. Among them, men and women dress like strangers. Blonde hair is drooping and just enjoying itself.
when I saw the fisherman, I was shocked and asked what I had never done. Answer it. You have to go home and set up wine to kill chickens for food. Someone was heard in the village, and Xian came to inquire. Since the cloud ancestors avoided the chaos of the Qin Dynasty, they led their wives and people to this desperate situation, and they did not come back, so they went to the outside world. When you ask what this world is, you don't know whether there are Han people, no matter Wei and Jin Dynasties. This person-one for what he said and heard, all lamented. The rest of them went back to their homes, and they all ate and drank. Stop for a few days and resign. There is a Chinese saying: "It is not enough for outsiders to be humanitarian."
once out, get the boat, then help to the road, and aim at it everywhere. And the county, notions of satrap, say so. The satrap means to send people with him, to find what he wants, to be lost, and to lose his way.
Liu Ziji, Nanyang, Gao Shangshi, heard of it, and now happily went. If you fail, you will find the disease. After that, no one cares.
The Peach Blossom Garden (translated)
During the first year of Tai's reign in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, there was a Wu Lingren who made a living by fishing. (One day) he rowed along the stream and forgot the distance. Suddenly I came across a peach blossom forest, which was sandwiched between the two sides of the stream for hundreds of steps, with no other trees in the middle. The grass is bright and beautiful, and the flowers are falling. The fisherman was very surprised. Go further and want to go to the end of this forest.
The (peach) forest disappeared where the stream originated, and (immediately) it was a mountain with a small hole in it, which seemed to have light. He left the boat and went in through the hole. At the beginning, the hole was very narrow and only one person could pass through. After a few dozen more steps, it suddenly became open and bright. The land is flat and open, the houses are neat, and there are fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry trees and bamboo. The paths in the fields are intertwined, and the crowing of chickens and dogs can be heard (between villages). People come and go to farm and work, and men and women dress exactly like the world outside the Peach Blossom Garden. Old people and children are full of joy and appear satisfied.
When (the people inside) met the fisherman, they were surprised and asked where (the fisherman) came from, and (the fisherman) gave him a detailed answer. (The man) invited (the fisherman) to his home and prepared wine to kill the chicken for cooking (entertaining him). When people in the village heard that there was such a person, they all came to inquire about the news. (They) said that their ancestors (in order to) avoid the troubles in the Qin Dynasty, led their wives, children and neighbors to this isolated place and never went out from here again, so they cut off contacts with outsiders. When they asked what dynasty it was, they didn't know there was a Han Dynasty, let alone Wei and Jin Dynasties. The man gave a detailed account (for them) of what he had heard. They all sighed and regretted. The rest of the people also invited (the fisherman) to their own homes, and they all brought out wine and rice (to entertain him). After staying here for a few days, the fisherman left. People here told (him): "(The situation here) is not worth telling people outside."
When (the fisherman) came out, he found his boat and marked it everywhere along the old road (back). Back to the county, to visit the satrap, reported the situation. The satrap immediately sent someone to follow him, looking for the mark made last time, but he lost his way and never found his way again.
Nanyang Liu Ziji is a noble celebrity; Hearing this, I happily planned to go, but it didn't come true and I died soon. Since then, no one has asked for directions. The nuclear boat records that there is a clever man called Wang Shuyuan, who can use wood with a diameter of inch as a palace, utensils, figures, and even birds and animals, wood and stones, regardless of the situation, and each has its own modality. After tasting a nuclear boat, I covered the red cliff cloud of Dasu.
The fore and aft length of the boat is about eight minutes, and it can be as high as two meters. If the boat is open, it will be covered by a canopy. There are small windows on the side, four on the left and four on the right, and eight on the * * *. Open the window and look at it, and the carved column faces each other. If it is closed, it will be engraved on the right with "the mountains are high and the moon is small, and the water will come out", and on the left with "the breeze is Xu Lai, and the water waves are stagnant", and it will be engraved with the stone.
There are three people sitting in the bow, Dongpo is the one with the highest crown and a lot of stubble, Fo Yin is on the right, and Lu Zhi is on the left. Sue and Huang * * * read a book. Dongpo's right hand holds the roll end, and his left hand caresses Lu Zhi's back. Lu Zhi held the end of the volume in his left hand and the volume in his right hand, saying something. Dongpo's right foot, Lu Zhi's left foot, each micro-side, compared with his knees, each hidden in the pleats of the bottom clothes. Fo Yin is a unique Maitreya, showing her breasts topless, holding her head high, and her expression does not belong to Su and Huang. Lying on your right knee, supporting the boat with your right arm, while standing on your left knee and leaning on your left arm, you can count the pearls vividly.
the stern of the boat is lying across. There is one boat on each side. The person who lives on the right has a spine bun on his back, his left hand leans on a balance wood, and his right hand climbs his right toe, which makes him scream. Those who live on the left hold a palm leaf fan in their right hand and touch the stove with their left hand. There is a pot on the stove, and their eyes are silent, if they listen to the sound of tea.
if the back of the boat is slightly lost, it will be inscribed on it, and the text says, "In the autumn of the apocalypse, Wang Yishu of Yushan was just carved". It is as fine as a mosquito's foot, and the hook is painted, and its color is ink. He also used the seal chapter to say "Chupingshan people", which is the color Dan.
if you plan a boat, you will be five; For window eight; For the awning, for the jar, for the stove, for the pot, for the hand roll, for the rosary; Couplets, titles and seal characters, for the word * * * thirty has four. However, those who have not been able to cover up the peach stone and trim the narrow will do it. Hip-hop skills are also strange.
Translation:
In the Ming Dynasty, there was a very handy man named Wang Shuyuan, who was able to carve houses, utensils, figures, birds, animals, trees and stones from wood with a diameter of one inch. He did not imitate the shapes of those things without following the original appearance of the wood, and each had its own modality. Wang Shuyuan once presented me with a boat carved with peach stones. It was originally carved that Su Dongpo visited Chibi by boat.
The boat is a little over eight minutes long from beginning to end, and about two grains of millet are high. The high and open part in the middle is the cabin, covered with a canopy made of bamboo leaves. There is a small window next to it, with four on the left and four on the right, and eight on the left. When you open the window, the carved railings are opposite to each other. Close the window, and you'll see the inscription "The mountains are high and the moon is small, and the truth comes out" on the right, and the inscription "The breeze is Xu Lai, and the water waves are quiet" on the left, and the inscription is painted with azurite.
There are three people sitting in the bow. The man with a tall hat and many beards in the middle is Su Dongpo, Fo Yin on his right and Lu Zhi on his left. Su Dongpo and Huang Luzhi look at a painting and calligraphy banner together. Su Dongpo holds the right end of the calligraphy and painting banner with his right hand, and gently presses Lu Zhi's back with his left hand. Lu Zhi left hand holding the end of the banner, right hand pointing to the calligraphy and painting banner, as if to say something. Su Dongpo showed his right foot, Huang Luzhi showed his left foot, each leaning slightly, and their two knees close to each other were hidden in the pleats under the banner of painting and calligraphy. Fo Yin is very much like Maitreya Bodhisattva. He opens his mind to reveal his breasts and looks up. His expression is not related to Su Dongpo and Huang Luzhi. Fo Yin lay his right knee flat, supported on the boat with his right arm bent, and erected his left knee. His left arm hung rosary against his left knee, and rosary could be clearly counted.
there is a paddle across the stern. There is a boatman on the left and right sides of the paddle. The person on the right is wearing a cone-shaped bun, with his face upturned, his left hand leaning against a crossbar, and his right hand pulling the toe of his right limb, as if shouting. On the left, the boatman is holding a Pukui fan in his right hand and touching the stove with his left hand. There is a pot on the stove. The man's eyes are looking at the tea stove, and his look is calm, as if listening to whether the tea is boiled.
The boat's back was slightly flat, and its name was engraved on it. The words were "The apocalypse was endless in autumn, and Wang Yishu of Yushan was just carved". The handwriting was as small as a mosquito's foot, with a clear hook and a clear picture, and its color was black. Also engraved with a seal, the text is: "Chupingshan people", and its color is red.
A total of five people are engraved on a boat; Eight windows are engraved; A awning carved with Indocalamus leaves, paddles and stoves; Carved with a teapot, engraved with a banner of calligraphy and painting, and engraved with a rosary; Couplets, titles and seal characters are engraved with 34 words * * *. But counting its length, it is less than an inch. It was originally carved from the long and narrow peach pit. Gee, the skill is really clever and wonderful.
the original text of the humble room inscription
The mountain is not high, but the immortal is the name. The water is not deep, and the dragon is the spirit. I am a humble room, but I am virtuous. These two sentences mean that Zhuge Lu and Ziyun Pavilion are very humble, and they are admired by people because the people they live in are very famous. Zhuge Liang, also known as Kong Ming, was the prime minister of Shu and Han Dynasties in the Three Kingdoms, a famous politician and strategist, and lived in seclusion in Longzhongshan Middle School in Nanyang County before he left office. Yang Xiong, Zi Ziyun, a writer in the Western Han Dynasty, was born in Chengdu, Shu County. Lu, a humble little house.

"Confucius believes that although Jiuyi is humble, it is not humble to have a gentleman living there. This paper only uses "what is humble" and also contains the meaning of "gentleman's residence" Confucius is quoted here to prove that "humble room" shows that "a humble room is not humble if a virtuous person lives there." Echoing the previous article, "I am a humble room, but I am virtuous." Turning the word "ugly" over completely and reaching the perfect state of "not ugly" is the crowning touch of the full text. It highlights the author's noble and proud sentiment and the interest of being poor and happy.
(21) The moss marks are green on the upper steps, indicating that few people came to visit Liu Yuxi. The grass is green in the curtain, but the grass in the courtyard is not removed, which reflects the owner's indifferent mentality of fame and fortune and renders a quiet atmosphere.
A mountain doesn't have to be high, but a fairy can be famous all over the world. The water doesn't have to be deep, and a dragon (living) can bring good fortune. This is (though) a humble house, but the owner has a good virtue. Moss laid a green carpet on the front of the steps, and the grass reflected the curtain in blue. Talking and laughing are profound scholars, and there are no shallow people. You can play the simple guqin and browse the precious Buddhist scriptures. No (noisy) music disturbs your ears, and no official documents tire your body and mind. (It's like) Zhuge Liang's cottage in Nanyang and the Xuanting of Yangzi Cloud in West Shu. Confucius said: (Although it is a humble room, as long as a gentleman lives in it), what is so humble?
Ailien said that the flowers of land and water plants are very lovely. Jin Tao Yuanming loves chrysanthemums alone. Since Li Tang came, the world has loved peony. To love the lotus alone, the mud is not stained, and it is clear but not demon. It is straight outside, not creeping, and the fragrance is far away and clear. It is slim and graceful, so you can look at it from a distance without being ridiculous.
to call chrysanthemum, the flowers are secluded; Peony, the flower is rich; Lotus, the gentleman of flowers is also. Hey! The love of chrysanthemum is rarely heard after Tao. Who gives the love of lotus? The love of peony is suitable for many people.
translation
There are many kinds of flowers and trees in the water and on the land, which are particularly popular. Tao Yuanming of Jin Dynasty only loved chrysanthemums. People all over the world have loved peonies since the Tang Dynasty. I only like lotus, which grows out of mud, but it is not polluted, but it does not look enchanting after washing with clear water. Lotus petiole is hollow in the middle, straight outside, not linked, not branched, the farther the fragrance spreads, the more delicate it becomes; Stand upright, you can only watch from a distance, but you can't play around. In my opinion, chrysanthemum is a hermit in flowers; Peony is a rich person in flowers; Lotus is a gentleman among flowers. Ah! For the love of chrysanthemum, Tao Yuanming has rarely heard of it since; Who else likes lotus like me? Of course, there is a lot of love for peony. Remember the night tour of Chengtian Temple in Yuanfeng on October 12th, 26. I undressed and wanted to sleep. I entered the house in the moonlight and set out happily. Those who are happy with nothing go to Chengtian Temple to look for Zhang Huaimin. They are still awake and walk in the atrium.
The courtyard is as empty as water, and the water is covered with bamboo and cypress. Which night has no moonlight? Which place does not have bamboo and cypress? Just lack of people like us who are so free.
Note:
Chengtian Temple: It is now in the south of Huanggang, Hubei.
the sixth year of Yuanfeng: 183 ad. Yuanfeng, the year number of Song Shenzong.
people who think of nothing and have fun: they think of no one to talk to and have fun with. Read, think, consider. People who enjoy themselves and enjoy themselves together.
Zhang Huaimin: the author's friend. Dream of fame, word Huaimin, Qinghe (now Qinghe, Hebei). Yuanfeng was also demoted to Huangzhou in six years, and sent it.
