Fang Heng is a violin teacher in the Music Education Department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music, a member of the Guangdong Violin Education Society, and a member of the Guangdong Higher Music Education Society. In 2011, he served as an observer for the 13th Guangdong Province Children's Violin Performance Competition and an examiner for the social music examination of Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In the same year, he was hired as a visiting teacher by the Hong Kong Zhang Shixiang International Violin School.
